"Know your worth and they can never play you"Natalie went to her father's office and took the files she had to study before her father had signed them. She went through the reports given, flipping through the pages until she stopped at one. Took one closer look at the stamp on the paper which was put exactly in the box, perfectly aligned. It was obvious to her it was fake.
No genuine receipt is taken care of that specifically, that the stamp is entirely in the box as much as center-aligned. There are many receipts to stamp. No one has this much time to care about the same details, this was obviously done by a rival gang who just had one receipt to take care of and did it perfectly, which turned out to be their biggest mistake. She looked at the receipt, and it turned out to be a normal receipt for construction material.
She realized two things. Firstly that it was a test, a test to see if they would notice the difference or not before they took a step ahead in their plan by taking bigger advantage of this carelessness. And secondly that they have a traitor in the gang who put the receipt in the file.
She took the receipt and went to her room and called Isaac.
Isaac was the most trusted member. He was like a son to Dimitri. He proved his sincerity for the gang numerous times as well as took bullets for Dimitri and Natalie without a second thought for his well-being.
"What happened pearl?"
He always called her pearl or Nat mostly and loved her like his sister. Natalie would always smile at the nickname as he was like an elder brother she never had.
"I was looking through the receipts and found a fake one. It was a test, we need to show them we take tests, not give them."
" Who did it ?"
"There is only one gang out there with enough balls to do this"
Isaac smiled, knowing its time for some fun.

They took out the guns and went ahead in their car to a shack, to others it would be a worthless little distorted hut, but only a few knew its actual worth.
It was the underground storehouse for the Smirnov's drug products in the desolated area of the forest. No one could guess that it was storing loads of drugs, worth millions. It only had two guards to not get much attention.
Natalie thought it was indeed a smart choice but they forget that there were smarter people around as well. She felt intrigued as to why a shack needs any guards at all and that too always present all the time. It must have something important. It didn't take her much time to realize it had to be drugs, stored underground because the shack was not big enough. But keep this information to herself for use in the future. Now the time had come.
They drove near to the forest and started walking to the shack quietly.

The drug storehouse of the Smirnovs.

Adrian woke up before his alarm could buzz, he didn't need one but just had the adrenaline to turn it off before it could even ring. Quite a morning person.
He wore a shirt and went around the mansion to check if everything was okay. He was a focused and disciplined person, utterly devoted to his father's mafia. He would put nothing else first, not even himself.
He went to his gym to work out for an hour. Then continued to practice further his martial art skills, he was a black belt in taekwondo after all. It helped him relax and was a source of peace in his life. He has faced the loss of people close to him and developed thick layers of leather around his heart to not let anyone in anymore as he thinks he destroys people who love him.
He took a shower and noticed that it was now around 8, then went to the room next door.
" Wake up, it's time to put your brain to use"
" School doesn't let us use our brain because they are scared that we can outsmart them" Timofey his 11-year-old brother answered.
" Yeah yeah big scheme against you, you're doomed" Adrian rolled his eyes and replied sarcastically. Timofey huffed and got up.
Adrian ruffled his hair and went out of his room.
"Get dressed, I'll make you breakfast"
He went downstairs to the kitchen and started making breakfast for Timofey when Adrian's father, Roman walked into the dining room while wearing his watch.
"Morning"
"We have a problem down the storehouse. You need to leave now. No one is picking up the calls."
"Will do"
Adrian asked the cooks to make breakfast and started walking towards his car. It was how his relationship was with his dad, just work no emotions.
"Where are we going, mate ?" Leonid his closest friend asked him while walking down the vestibule, behind him.
"I am going to the storehouse, you are going to drop off Tim at school and for the last time you're not British"
"Ok, I'll drop him off, mate"
Adrian stopped and that's all it took Leonid to flee away. As Adrian turned around he saw Leo's little figure running like a mad man. Scared little shit, he thought as he shook his head and continued his journey.

Natalie and Isaac sneaked into the shack from the window and spotted two guards by the door smoking peacefully. They seemed to be quite relaxed and unattentive, probably because they thought no one would get to know about this place.
Natalie nodded at Isaac. He sneaked towards them & hit one of them with his gun on the back of his head knocking him out and as the other turned around to the noise, Natalie who stood behind him, hit him on his head, knocking him out as well.
They both then started to walk to the underground door and opened it. It was filled with packets and packets of powder worth millions. Natalie smiled at Isaac before planting a large-scale firebomb inside and getting out.

Adrian drove to the shack and noticed waves of smoke coming out of it from a distance. He immediately hit the gas pedal &vdrove there. Reaching the place he ran to the door once he noticed the guards knocked out by the door but before he could have a look inside he turned his head to the side hearing rustling of leaves at a distance. Wasting no time he took out his gun and started following the same pathway.
"There might be two sides to a story but what if the whole story is at fault, cause hidden truths are just unspoken lies." Natalie had gone back into the shack to drag out the guards. She just wanted to give a message to their leader by causing a loss of millions. Nothing more nothing less. She couldn't let the guards just die for that in the fire for just doing their job. She always tried not to kill anyone as much as she could because in the mafia all who are involved are not necessarily evil. Some were too poor & didn't have any other choice. After she was done, she ran back to her car to Isaac, who was waiting for her in the car. But on her way back she felt like someone was following her and quickly covered her face, not wanting to reveal her identity. Adrian noticed the change in the pace of the person & started shooting at her. But she successfully escaped those by covering herself with the trees. She took a pause before she shot back, missing his ear barely by a
"Alone by herself, she build the kingdom she wanted" Adrian bought a condo for him, Leonid and Timofey, and a few flats in the nearby areas for a few of his members who were leaving with them. It was dangerous for them to live together in the same place, they could be easily identified and attacked all at once.
"The only reason I became religion is so that I could pray for you to burn in hell" Adrian watches Natalie intensely as she twists Lucas's hands, making him groan out in pain. She was not what he had expected. She is no gullible girl. She drags Lucas to the door casually, while pointing a gun at him. Natalie looks up at the people surrounding and then her eyes fall on Adrian, she stares at him as he stares back. She smiles lightly looking at Adrian. "Drugs really don't seem good for you these days" Adrian's eyes cloud with anger at the insinuation. He clenches his fists, gritting his teeth and as he was about to say something, Natalie fired the gun near one of the guy's feet. All attention turned towards the gunshot. Everyone's attention apart from Adrian who was still looking at her, the only person with no gun in his hands pointing at her. Element of distraction to escape... As the men turn their attention back at her, she was gone and on the floor was their boss groaning in

She opened the door and saw him sitting trying to button his shirt. She went to him, slapped his hand away lightly, and buttoned it up for him. Isaac gave her a grin as thanks. "Come & sit here, let me have a look at your arm." "Okay" "It's getting better. Now let's get you some breakfast" Isaac nodded as Natalie went to the kitchen. A few minutes later she came back with his food. Isaac looked at the tray in her hand and blinked at the quantity of food. "Natalie, how am I gonna eat this much food" "I will make you. Sit down" Natalie said firm tone. Isaac sighed and sat down on the chair. She placed the tray on the table which had fruits, sprouts, eggs, toast, and beans. As he picked up the spoon, Natalie snatched it away, making Isaac look at her confused. "You are left-handed and you have an injury on it. How do you think y

His sister died in a car crash with one of his enemies in the same car, both dead as a bullet hit the back tire, couldn't be turned in time, and drove off the cliff, moments later blasted. He was hurt, his sister and he had been together through thick and thin, when their parents were busy being selfish, they fought together for a better life. His elder sister was everything to him, his mother, his father, his friend, his guardian. It hit him hard knowing that no longer his sister will be there waiting for him to return home, hitting him, scolding him, making fun of him, or ready to fight someone ten times herself to save him. She was no longer in this world. He was lost in his grief that he didn't see the little girl in the corner hurt from h
