Chapter 58
I woke up to knocking on the front door. After removing Darren's death trap arm from around my waist as carefully as possible to not wake him up, I went and opened the door to find his mum standing there.
"I didn't know if you would be up to cooking breakfast or seeing people, so I dished up some of our breakfast for you guys to eat here."
I took the plate and invited her in so we wouldn't need to stand there talking at the door.
"Thank you. We wanted to discuss some wedding details also yesterday, but with everything that happened we don't know if it would be best to postpone the wedding that we had wanted to hold before the baby is born or just keep going forward as planned. I'm just so confused and hurt at the moment, but I don't want to get married without my dad being present at the ceremony and walking me down the isle and that won't happen until he accepts me and the baby."
