Gabriel and I got up rather early, I only got 6 hours of sleep in, it took me some time to fall asleep with Gabriel's physique running through my mind on repeat. I think he heard me moving around in my bedroom because shortly after the Keurig went on and the smell of espresso filled the house.

When I get out of the bathroom, I see Gabriel once again Mastering my kitchen whipping up a storm so we can have breakfast, since we had leftovers last time I have no doubt this feast will hold us over until there is not even a crumb left. I look further into the kitchen to see that I now have a filter coffee machine, so whoever doesn't want "Fancy" coffee can have filter coffee.

"What happened to eat frozen food?" I asked Gabriel who shakes his head continuing to scramble eggs. "That is no way to get your head in the game Scarlette, we would all be asleep minutes after eating that nonsense." I go for the filter coffee and pour myself a mug since it's the only coffee that doesn't require me to

"So I did some asking around while you ladies were packing up and I found that the mountain is called Mount Hermon to the angels and humans, but amongst the night walkers the place is referred to as the gathering of demons of old." If that did not send chills down my spine, then I have no idea what else will. I nod my head as I throw away my backpack with a change of clothing or two and toiletries and obviously my purse. At that moment, Lydia reenters my apartment with her own backpack. I told her I would pay for whatever she needed after she refused Gabriel, fearing he would take it out of her paycheck. Even after he swore he wouldn't do that, she still refused. She promised to pay me back every penny. She is such a modern, independent woman! "I heard that we are going to Mount Hermon Boss. Is it within driving distance?" Lydia asked, just as Jackson himself walked into my apartment with a backpack of his own and no Sasha, Markus was standing there, which confused me. Jed appeared

"You must be Eve" I stated, holding out my hand for her to shake, but instead she threw herself into my arms, embracing me in a hug which I very much welcomed, and hugged her back. "Eve! Do not forget yourself, girl!" Jed reprimands, to which she jumps out of my hold and nods her head in shame, apologizing to both Jed and me "No need to apologize las, Jed is just being a hard arse, aren't you Jed? Show the lady some kindness, won't you?" He nods his head in submission to me, "Right, Eve, Did Jedreel explain to you why you are here? And your new duty to humanity?" She nods her head once again, "Okay, you have the right to decline the position, I would understand if you had your own life to life." She shakes her head no. "It would be my honor Holiness, since Cain killed Able for rapping and killing his wife and then proceeded to do the same to Adam for covering up the lie to stay in favor of the creator, son only living son has disowned me, I have been walking this earth by myself for

We got back to our rented AirBnB and found the angel Seraphiel was already in our house, which was weird. Why did he follow us here? And if he could, who else knew we were here? Jed flashes in, he must have sensed my hesitation to move further. "Brother, what are you doing here? Her Holiness has concluded her business with you at your palace." He says to Seraphiel "I come with news to Her Holiness, I will be brief." He states. I nodded my head to allow Jedreel to give him some space. Everyone else fills into the front door Eve included. I will not subject her to witnessing what it would take for her to replace those pitiful excuses for human beings. "There is word in the Silver City that the Creator is planning on coming to Earth, but nobody knows why or when." I nodded my head in understanding while Jed began to pace "Do not tell anyone you have met with her Holiness and do not tell anyone she is here now. Not unless they ask you specifically about her whereabouts or if you have la

We landed in Syria and luckily we had a shuttle waiting for us, which drove us up to the mountains. As tired as we were, we hiked from the nearest point the cab could go. Thank fuck we all bought snacks and drinkables at the airport and stuffed our bags because, after an hour of hiking, I was starving. We didn't stop though, as we all agreed it would make us lazy and our legs already felt like jelly. A torturous two-and-a-half hours later, we reached the top of Mount Hermon. I assume nobody has ever made it this far to the top because we are met with stares from the villagers, all dressed rather fashionably, which shocks me because I did not think any of them ever left the top of the mountain. I saw a caramel-colored man. He's very big! He has the potential to be Gabriel and Jackson stacked on top of each other. That would be his height, like 12 f 2 if not taller. "I am Anak Chief of this tribe, what brings you here? You do not smell of humans, but I have never scented your kind bef

The next morning, we had breakfast, and as promised, Anak, Seth, and two other Nephilims flew us down the mountain sparing us two hours and 25 minutes of hiking. Thank goodness they did because we finished off our snacks yesterday giving some of the snacks to the children in the village as they've never had the pleasure to indulge in such things. When we got to the bottom of the mountain, Gabriel's phone pinged for a good amount of time with messages concerning his businesses, and messages from Markus informing him check-in went well with all the vampires. Jackson Immediately called Sasha, and Lydia call us a Cab leaving me to book our flights. Nephilims stood on in awe, I explained to them how everything worked as they were mind blown by the fact that Jackson could see and speak to Sasha on a tiny device without her being in front of him. All of them took turns speaking to Sasha with childlike wonder. Seth stood crouched down next to Lydia with his ear pressed against the back of

We make it to Har Yehuda, about a 28-minute drive from the city center. The place Azazel has chosen for himself and the lads kind of does feel like hell. Hot and smack in the middle of the Judean Desert and the wasteland between Jerusalem and the dead sea. It’s hot as hell, luckily we dressed for the weather and we sure as heck brought 4L of water each, I am not feeling to die of dehydration not while hunting the menace that caused all this mess to begin with. We stumbled upon a tarot reader's place and Lydia drags us all in because she does not believe they are all frauds. So we followed along. "Hello?" calls when we walk into the place a Dark haired man in a black suit and tie walks out with polished formal shoes, a bit of a bear gut, and a well-kept beard just past the five o'clock shadow. I turned out the entire conversation and readings until Lydia squealed "YES!, we are looking for an upside-down angel!" My head snapped in her direction, I then saw Jackson and Gabriel spring

"And a brilliant you have done at finding her, tractor." Came the voice of my mate and then he stepped into the room from behind the door. "Holiness," Azazel says to my mate "Forgive me," He asked "You are beyond that, you are the embodiment of disappointment, be gone from my site." And just like that Azazel was obliterated into nothingness. What my mate did not realize was every time, he permanently destroyed something we created together, the bit of life I breathed into them, comes back to me increasing my power tenfold as the object had lived a full life and in turn, broadening my knowledge and wisdom too. At this point Jackson had ascended and was twice the mass he was before we got here, Gabriel looked a bit scrawny standing next to him now, none the less the three of them stood by ready to come to my defense, if this wasn't as serious as it was I would have giggled at their level of cuteness. "Well then darling, that concludes this mess, shall we head home?" That was more o

ALTERNATE UNIVERSE Kael stepped forward, his face tense. "Your Majesty, Scarlette, Demetrius," he greeted them, bowing low. "I have troubling news from the Vampire Council." Gabriel's jaw clenched. "What is it?" "The Council has received reports of a group of rogue vampires attacking nearby villages, killing and turning humans indiscriminately," Kael explained. "They believe that it might be the work of one of our own." Gabriel's eyes narrowed. "One of our own?" "Yes, Your Majesty," Kael confirmed. "The Council suspects that the perpetrator might be one of the rebels who defied their orders and left the clan years ago." Scarlette felt a shiver run down her spine. "What do we do?" "We investigate," Gabriel said firmly. "We cannot let our kind be associated with this kind of brutality. We will find the perpetrator and bring them to justice." A chill ran down her spine, making her hair stand on end. Her ocean-blue eyes darted around, searching for any sign of what was to come. Suddenly, a sharp pang shot through Scarlett's head. She winced, clutching her temples, as a voice echoed in her mind. It was gentle yet commanding, like a whisper carried by the wind. "Scarlett," the voice called, resonating in her thoughts. Confused and a little frightened, Scarlett glanced around in the car at her friends, but they seemed oblivious to what she was experiencing. She shifted in her seat, trying to make sense of it all. The wind grew stronger at her verbal jabs. “Why are you doing this to these people Moira, what have they done to you?” Lydia asked, her voice had even thickened a bit. “Put away the claws kitten and I will tell you. I won’t waste my strength shouting over your chaos.” Moira answered Lydia. Lydia dissipated her power just enough to make Moira believe she had closed off access to her magic. “Great, now contrary to popular belief, I am not after the Nishruu inside of you.” Moira said in disgust, “I have seen how those things have driven family members crazy or to suicide, I refuse to host such an abomination.” she continued, “Alright let me start at the beginning.” Moira clapped her hands together and rubbed them as though she was ready to have a feast. “A little history little sister, the Nishruu was not placed inside of you because our family was trying to save

“So you’re going to stand there and pretend you don’t know who I am?” Sasha asked Asher. The beta frowned and then sniffed the air again this time zoning in on the Queen Luna. His eyes widened as tears started to stream down his face, and he fell to his knees. That was not the reaction she expected. “Of course not Lilly,” Asher said, which made Scarlett's eyes widen as she recalled her dream of the other universe where Gabriel and Scarlett had a little girl with them called Lily. “My name is Sasha.” She said to him anger boiling in her chest. “Olivia named you Lily, forgive me, Lyle must have asked the humans to rename you to keep you hidden,” Asher said as his voice broke. “What did you just say?” She asked him in confusion as her anger only dissipated by a fraction. “Alpha Johnson did not kill you even though the witch warned him this day would come and you would seek your vengeance upon him for slaughtering our true Luna.” Beta Miller said, still on his knees. “Well, so my siste
