Carissa jumped from the tree and approached the unconscious vampire. She had flicked a paralyzing needle in his direction hidden in her sleeves.
She squatted and put her right palm on the vampire’s chest. Blue fire surges from her palms and spreads to the vampire’s entire body. She watched with fascination as it turned into ashes.
Suddenly, a small sphere ball, like a bead, floats into the air and enters Carissa’s forehead before it disappears.
Carissa’s eyes flashed blue and she felt her body become stronger.
She stood up and smiled wickedly before making her way through the forest and eliminating the vampires who still haven’t given up on searching for her.
Although her senses of smell weren’t functioning very well because of the rain, she still could use her hearing senses.
It would be better if she could smell her enemy but guess, hearing their movements is enough.
The rain is quite nosy. But, Carissa had a higher degree of hearing senses.
In half an hour, the army of vampires in the forest was gone like a gust of wind, without a body to be buried or cremated.
Carissa who had collected more than half of the 300 soldiers' sphere balls was more energetic than before.
There’s no way she couldn’t beat Aischylos this time.
The rain had washed away most of the wild dog’s blood on her clothes. However, there are still stains that would take a lifetime to remove and make her look sadistic.
She walks leisurely towards Aischylos camp and ignores the harsh rain hitting her body or the cold wind passing by her.
She wasted no time when she arrived and retrieved the foldable twin sickle on her boot.
With lightning speed, she pounced on her first victim and slashed it on his neck. She didn’t even wait to see its body fall before pouncing on her next target.
The vampires immediately recognised her and started attacking her too.
It was a fierce battle.
Aischylos was resting in his camp when he heard the commotion in the background.
He went out of his camp and was stunned when he saw his soldiers falling on the ground one by one.
“Ghost, you’re dead!”
Aischylos ran towards her who was still in the middle of the fight, raised his hand, and landed it on her back.
Carissa was taken aback and her body was thrown a few meters away from Aischylos punch momentum.
“Ugh!”
Blood spurts out from her mouth the moment she landed on the ground.
She was quick to move to her feet. She wiped her lips and glared at Aischylos with hatred in her eyes.
She throws one of the sickles towards his face before rushing towards him with the other sickle.
Aischylos ducked but never expected Carissa to appear in front of him with her sickle moving towards his neck.
He could only lift his arm to dodge her attack before trying to sweep her off of her feet.
Carissa fell on her back and watched as the vampires loomed over her with malice.
She sat up and bent down on one knee before hitting the snowy ground with her palm and releasing her foot-chain-sphere-ball aura that reached 2 kilometres away.
The vampires were trapped inside the blue aura and couldn’t move their feet at all including Aischylos.
Carissa stood up and moved towards Aischylos, standing face to face before him.
“Let me go, you witch! Ghost!”
“Shameful! Using such tricks on us!”
Carissa’s lips curled up as she waited for him to look straight into her eyes before her eyes flashed.
After that, she walked around the circle leisurely as she gave Aischylos a provoking smile as he watched one by one of his soldiers fall to the ground.
“Gaaahhhh! Ghost! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!” seeing his comrades dying and unable to struggle or escape, his hatred for Carissa grew deeper.
He was unaware that she had planted a seed in his brain. He didn’t even notice that she could access his brain anytime she wanted.
The aura that lasted for two minutes killed all of his soldiers but not him.
Why?
He wasn’t sure.
“Just kill me! Kill me if you dare!”
Carissa watched how his body trembled with hatred and anger. She saw how veins appeared at the back of his hand and saw a glimpse of sadness in his eyes.
Interesting.
This vampire had compassion for his soldiers.
However, he was rooted in his spot even though he could move and rushed forward to kill her.
He wanted to but his mind and body were clashing. It felt like...his mind and body weren’t his own anymore and what’s more, he felt the need to obey her.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Carissa's whole body tensed when she felt a towering presence behind her.
“Not bad. Not bad.”
“I was wondering what’s keeping my little commander busy. It turns out to be the ghost leader.”
Carissa clenched her hand as her heart pounded in panic.
How did she not realize his presence until now?
Despite the surging storm inside her, Carissa appeared calm and unmoved as she studied the man before her.
Brown hair, blue eyes, sculpted jaw, muscled body with a towering height.
He looks like a perfectly sculpted specimen and he smelt like flowers.
Flowers? Huh! He must have spent his time fooling around.
Dressed in black and red clothes, he gave Carissa a flirty smirk and wink.
“Who are you?”
Carissa wonders if he is Aischylos's master or someone sent by the true master.
He grinned, “Nice to meet you, milady. I’m Heidrich Samsons.”
Heidrich walked past her and approached Aischylos who immediately fell to his knees with his head lowered.
“Master!”
“Hm. What are you waiting for? Go and capture her for me!”
“Yes, Master!”
Aischylos stood up and charged towards Carissa.
‘Damn it!’
Carissa dodges his attack but never intends to attack him back.
If she were to use her ability, Heidrich would definitely use it to his advantage.
Her eyes flashed for a second before she hit Aischylo's chest with her palms.
Aischylos was thrown back by the momentum of her power. Carissa used this advantage to activate the seed in his mind.
Aischylos struggled to balance his body before finally planting his foot on the ground.
His eyes flashed blue for a second before his eyes went back to normal.
‘Go and kill him for me!’ Carissa ordered, communicating with him inside his mind.
As if possessed, Aischylos turned towards Heidrich and charged towards him.
Heidrich was stunned for a second before he cursed, “Crazy!”
Carissa watched the battle between the master and his commander from afar with a smirk on her face.
With the battle still going on at the corner of her eyes, she spread her arms beside her before spreading blue fire towards the corpse around her.
Dozens of sphere balls float around the air when the corpse turns into ashes.
Carissa sighs with satisfaction when the sphere ball fills her body with energy.
‘It’s quite delicious!’
“Ugh!”She was still in a state of bliss when pain radiated from her chest and made Carissa spurt out blood from her mouth. She wiped her mouth and took a quick look at the unconscious Aischylos on the ground.‘It’s good that you’re still alive.’Carissa didn’t let Heidrich rest after his fierce battle. She needed to kill him fast. She was still speeding towards him when she saw a black shadow appearing above her.Within seconds, Carissa found herself inside a net that was held by four vampires. She was about to use her fire to burn the net when her power bounced back and hit her.“Argh!”Carissa clutched her burning hand with a pained look on her face. Not giving up, she tried it one more time but received the same result. She reached towards her foldable sickle on her boot when she heard a chuckle, “Give it up. The net is embedded with magic.”“Ma..magic?” Carissa’s eyes widen.“But, how? Magic...witches...they don’t exist!”Heidrich smirked, “Well...It looks like you still haven’t g
Heidrich saw that the werewolves did not give him any response and sneered, “Fine, then. You should be prepared for your doom!”Then, he led the vampires back to a safe place to avoid the sun and asked his men to carry the still-unconscious Aischylos. After the vampires left, Carissa who was in the back, silently retreated into the dark forest. She needed to escape. However, her hope was crushed when she stepped on a branch and made all the werewolves turn towards her.“My friends, it was nice meeting you for the first time. I have something important to do. We’ll meet again if we have the chance in the future. Bye!”Then, she sprints into the woods at a fast speed. However, half of her speed was restrained by the net wrapping around her body. She had sprinted forward for five minutes, but she didn’t hear any sound of the werewolves chasing her at all.Did that mean they let her go?With this thought, Carissa slowed down her pace. Soon, she saw the exit of the forest and a bright light
For a moment, there was a brief silence between them. None of them spoke, but they were staring at each other.No.More like, observing.Carissa found him attractive and Leroy did too. However, there was no crazy heartbeat as gossiped by their mated friends.Leroy was annoyed by his own thought. He never thought of having a mate. He alone was enough.Carissa was the same, she didn't need a mate as she believed she could have her own life. Both of them thought that having a relationship was too messy and that having a mate was a weakness. They shivered when they recalled the smitten look on their mated friends. Their mated friends say that having a mate made their life feel complete and they were stronger together. If only Carissa and Leroy knew how similar their thoughts were."You're not a vampire, why are your eyes red?" Leroy asked.Carissa rolled her eyes, "You are not a witch, why are your eyes purple?"Leroy shot her a cold look.Yeah. He's not a witch. But, why are his eyes purp
Leroy took her back to the previous fighting place between Heidrich and the werewolves. The werewolves had set up a camp and were currently sitting in five groups. All of them were sitting around the fire, chatting and grilling meat that they hunted a few hours ago. Some even dared to take out bottles of hidden alcohol and drink openly. The atmosphere was lively. None of them cares for Leroy who was holding Carissa on his shoulder. As for Carissa, a small bubble from her nose popped out as she snored. Leroy went back to his camp slowly and made Carissa feel drowsy along the way.The fatigue from fighting all day beat her and helped her fall asleep in seconds. She was still dreaming happily when Leroy threw her inside his camp unceremoniously and woke her up."Ugh! Damn, Leroy! Can't you be a gentleman for a second? My back is broken!" she sat up and snarled at him.Leroy watched her rubbing her back and curled his lips. He believes this woman must be talking nonsense again."Don't Fret
As said in the beginning, there are 40% vampires with 30 clans and 5 Royal Vampire Clans. 30% werewolves with 15 packs and 5 Royal Lycan Pack. 20% hunters with 5 tribes and only 1 Royal Hunter Tribe. The remaining rumours of 7% witches and 3% humans remain mysterious. At night, Carissa Katsaros who was the Princess of the 1st Royal Hunter Tribe allied with the 5th Royal Lycan Pack Prince, Leroy Percival. They attacked the 30th vampire clan, Isador Clan. Next, the 24th vampire clan, the Neifion Clan, and the 14th vampire clan, the Waldo Clan. The battles were fierce and bloody. Carissa and the werewolves were forced to fight with full force. They fought against the vampires as well as the wild dog’s rampage. At the end of the battle, Carissa’s team lost five elite werewolves. The rest of them were badly injured. At the beginning of the battle, Carissa tells them that fire is the vampire’s fatal weakness. So, the three clans were burned to the ground after the battle and the clan leaders
A middle-aged man with a high temperament appeared at the entrance followed by another four men behind her. Carissa’s eyes narrowed. She didn’t have to guess. These five people were the Royal Packs Leaders.Their aura was combined and Carissa couldn’t help herself from backing away unconsciously. Her pupil shranks as sweat rolled down her back. She was a princess from the Hunter’s Royal Tribes indeed. But, faced with these aged people in front of her made her confidence swayed slightly.“Leroy, whose making a mess in front of the werewolves palace?” the man beside the high temperament middle-aged man asked.Looking at the older version of Leroy, Carissa didn’t need to guess who this person is.Hazel eyes were Lycan and orange eyes were werewolves.“Greetings, elders! Yesterday, we successfully eliminated three vampire clans with the hunter’s help. She agrees to visit werewol
It wasn’t long before Leroy and Carissa end up in a prison. They were thrown into a different cell from other prisoners.“Ugh!” Leroy groaned when the Lycan’s guards throw him on the floor. He gritted his teeth and turn his body to look at them. At the same time, the guards closed the door with a loud bang and put on a big chained lock on their cell doors.Carissa also saw this and sneered. It was as if they are locking a dangerous monster.Carissa approached the injured Leroy who was still sitting on the floor when the guards went away.“How are you?”“Can’t you see I’m injured? Ow! Slow down!” Leroy rolled his eyes and leaned on her as she helped him to move and sit on the back of the cell so he could lean on the cold wall.Carissa’s mouth twitch. She wiped the blood running out from her nose and sighed before she also leaned back on the wall behind her.
A few hours after that, Leroy accompanied Carissa to the borders where the caught werewolves soldiers were waiting for them.Behind them was a few vampire soldiers who were looking at them with malice. Looking at the caught werewolves made Carissa shuddered. Some of them had lost parts of their bodies and from the looks of it, they did not get any treatment at all. A slight movement was like a pain that was ten times higher.Furthermore, they had lost a lot of blood and it was impossible to heal overnight. Their life was on the edge of a cliff. It was a miracle that they were still breathing up until now. They have been tortured for hours inside the dungeon for they won't tell the vampires a thing about the werewolves war camp and their plans.'What a loyal dog', Carissa thought."I'm here. You can let them go now." Carissa walk straight to them and waved her hand carelessly."Carissa-!" Leroy wanted to stop her but stopped whe
