Mateo glanced at her and sneer, "What do you think?"
Carissa tried to move away from him with a futile attempt since she was cuffed to the headboard.
She struggled with all her might to remove her hand from the cuff but failed. Her fair skin had turned red from the force she put on her struggle.
She tried to activate her power to melt the iron steel many times but it was as if she had returned to an ordinary human who doesn't have any power at all.
Fear spread through her body like wildfire and swallowing her whole. Her body trembles and her eyes had turn misty from holding her tears back.
