Inside the car is only filled with the roar of the air conditioner which is turned on in the coolest mode to dispel the hot summer temperatures. Since leaving the hotel grounds ten minutes ago, the rental car driven by Lean had been silent and had grown colder. The two people, Lean and Avelyn, felt awkward with each other just to start a conversation. Actually, Avelyn was feeling awkward, while Lean was just letting Avelyn enjoy her nervousness.

The dinner was actually going to cancel because Avelyn didn't come after Lean waited for more than thirty minutes. The man had even cursed when he almost lost his temper and was going back into the hotel to eat at the hotel restaurant. But miraculously Avelyn suddenly appeared in a state of exhaustion because she was running while fixing her messy dress. In a blue dress that was supposed to make Avelyn look beautiful, Lean didn't have time to pay attention. He was already annoyed with Avelyn for not giving him any news. It didn't matter if Av

“The food at the restaurant was really good!” Avelyn giggled and fidgeted a little as she stepped out of Lean’s Vette. She was a little drunk from drinking two shots of brandy. She's a really bad drinker. She shouldn't have let herself take two shots of brandy. "Be careful, Ave. You could fall flat on the warm sand beach." Lean walked briskly from the driver's door. He grabbed Avelyn's shoulder quickly before Avelyn fell down on the sand because her feet had just tripped over a rock. Avelyn's cheek pressed against Lean's hard chest, she looked up briefly to look at Lean, then giggled again in an annoying voice. "You know, leaning against your chest is really comfortable." Lean smirked. "I don’t mind. You can lean in there as long as you want.” "No no no." Avelyn moved her index finger in front of Lean's face. “I am a married woman. Leaning on your chest too long is not good.” Lean was excited to see the adorable Avelyn when she was drunk. Her index finger danced in front of his

Yesterday's dinner could be said to be going well. All night they had a nice meal, discussing whatever topics they liked, but without mentioning personal matters, such as talking about Elvis. Then before going home they took the time to dance with the other visitors in the live music arena that played stomping music as the night moved further and the wind was blowing harder. They needed to move last night so they could warm their bodies which were shivering from the strong sea breeze. Avelyn arrived at her beach house at twelve o'clock just after Lean once again took her around Panama City which seemed even quieter because some of the inhabitants had fallen asleep in dreamland. You could say last night's event was fun. It was enough for Avelyn to forget her frustration with Elvis for leaving her. But even so last night Avelyn took the time to contact Elvis when she woke up at two in the morning. At least she wanted to act like a caring wife saying goodnight. Unfortunately when this h

A small hum that sounded faintly among the gurgling sound of water distracted Lean from seeing the ins and outs of Avelyn's beach house. Behind the door that Lean thought was Avelyn's room came Avelyn's cheerful voice singing several verses of a romantic song she had memorized. Perhaps it was the silence in this house that made whatever sound Avelyn made louder. But Lean was happy when Avelyn was happy. He thinks she is happy with his invitation to go on a trip to Old Panama. Lean's hand reached out to touch the closed knob in front of him. Seeing the knob he wondered whether Avelyn had locked it or not. Obviously it would have been reckless if Avelyn hadn't locked it because she was alone in her lovely beach house with him. Lean gave a faint smile as he looked at his sturdy palm that was still perched on the doorknob that had been pressed down. The door was not locked. Either Lean should feel happy or feel guilty about intruding on Avelyn's privacy. But he was intrigued to enter th

"What did you get?" “A pearl necklace. You?" “Bracelet with beads made of unique colorful stones. I really didn't expect our new mistress to be that kind." The hordes of servants in the luxurious mansion were showing off the gifts Avelyn had given them this morning. They joyfully tried them one by one in a special room at the back of the mansion that they had always used to gather and gossip about. A total of ten servants worked in the mansion. The ten servants have their respective duties and responsibilities according to the division of tasks made by the butler. There were three people who were employed as cooks, two were assigned to clean the right wing of the mansion, then two people worked on the left wing, while the rest served as gardeners and janitors on the second floor. The ten servants had served for years in Elvis's magnificent mansion until the mansion and its contents felt so familiar to them. But one that has become unfamiliar to them lately. The presence of their ne

Answering the call from the knocker, Avelyn immediately rolled out of her comfortable bed and left the fashion magazine still wide open on her bed. The call came from the butler at Elvis's mansion. Just five days ago Elvis had told her that Magda was the butler of his mansion. No wonder at that time Avelyn often saw Magda hanging around. Even that woman was the first to greet her very kindly when she woke up in a strange place that is now her home. "It’s time for lunch, ma’am," said Magda politely. Avelyn glanced at the clock on her wall and only then realized that she had spent hours rolling around on the bed. "I'll come down later." Avelyn replied uncertainly. She feels that she doesn't need lunch because she often skips lunch when she has breakfast in the morning. But she deliberately didn't say that in front of Magda so as not to offend the kind servant. "Thanks for the reminder me, Magda." "It is my duty, ma’am. Then excuse me." Avelyn stared briefly at Magda, then closed h

"Say her to come back later!" said Lean angrily at his new receptionist officer. Wherever Evon worked, that woman always messed up his day. He should have fired her from his office and not given her a chance to work in a lower position. "The woman is presistent," replied Evon weakly. Today she has had a tough day. In an instant her position was snatched away by others. And now everyone who knew her was staring at her with pity because the boss of The Star blatantly kicked herself from the position of secretary. Even though she had worked with Lean for years, and so far there had never been any problems like what she had just faced. Lean is an indifferent boss. That was what Evon stepped up to during her time as her secretary. Many times she tried to lure the man to show his true identity because there were many rumors circulating that he was gay. The halls were full and bustling with Royale High School students. Avelyn walked as usual down the hallway, ignoring the scornful stares of her friends. Isn't that normal? Avelyn thought sarcastically. For almost three years, she had always received the same gaze from them. So this is no longer a problem for her. But is she sure that this is not a problem? A student suddenly blocked her way. He looked at her body with an impolite look, then suddenly gripped her chin with a painful grip. "Let me go!" Avelyn hissed sarcastically. This morning when she came out of her rented apartment on the outskirts of LA, she saw a man with glasses standing reading a newspaper across the street, right in front of her apartment window. Of course she wouldn't be as paranoid as it if the man she saw this morning was not the same as the man she saw yesterday while having lunch at a Japanese restaurant. Without any hesitation, Avelyn was sure that this man was the spy Michael sent to find her. But to hell with that guy. After she was sure that her position was known, she just walked out of the apartment, speeding fast right in front of the man using her sports car which she happened to be able to rely o
