You lied to me

The crowd was standing at the bailey of the castle, they were about to witness the execution of a man and his wife.

“Behead them.” A deep manly voice roared.

“Please. I'm begging you. Don't do this. We would leave Irvine.” A girl pleaded, watching her parents as they were about to be killed. Her pleas fell on deaf ears, she fell on her knees crawling close to the guard who had raised the ax to chop off the man's head. The guard darted at who ordered him to execute the prisoners, his ax still raised. The man who ordered them to be beheaded shook his head and the guard raised down the ax chopping off the man's head. The crowd gasped.

“No! Please.” The woman tied beside the man who had died pleaded. Moving strands of her messy blonde hair, her face covered with dirt, this girl who was pleading that her parents be freed crawled toward her mother, tears trickling down her eyes. She gasped when the ax separated the woman's head from her body. Whimpering, she crawled to a corner before her
