Chap 7  Only Two Of

“Why should I, sir? "I don't deserve to be your companion at that party," said Karin

Instead of answering Karin's question, Ryan got up from his seat and walked out of the restaurant.

Karin stared in disbelief at Ryan's back, who was walking out of the restaurant, after he gave her an ultimatum.

Awakening from her reverie, Karin got up from her seat and walked towards the cashier. When she was about to pay her lunch bill, it turned out that Ryan had already paid her lunch bill.

Karin walked out of the restaurant and almost bumped into Ryan's back, who suddenly appeared from beside the restaurant door.

"Why are you standing there? Are you waiting for me?" asked Karin,

Ryan turned around and looked at Karin coldly. "Don't be big-headed, I can't possibly wait for you!"

Karin nodded. "Yes, what you said is true. Excuse me, sir, I'm going to the office first." Karin walked back towards the company where she worked.

However, after she had only walked a few steps, Ryan rebuked him. "What are you doing, How dare you leave before I let you."

Karin stopped in her tracks and waited for Ryan to walk until they were side by side. In her heart, Karin muttered. 'He said he wasn't waiting for me, but when I went first he started grumbling.'

When they arrived at the company lobby, Karin continued to follow Ryan until she was about to get into the elevator. Ryan, who was already in the elevator, frowned. Seeing Karin enter the same elevator as him.

"Who are you? How dare you enter the same elevator as me! Do you want to tease me and further strengthen people's suspicions that you have slept with me as long as you know, yes! This lift is specifically for the leaders of this company! Are you among the leaders of this company?”

Karin's face suddenly became shocked when she heard what Ryan said. "Excuse me sir I dont know." Karin walked  Backwards to get out of the elevator.

However, because she didn't pay attention to her steps. She tripped and almost fell when the heels she was wearing caught on the carpet. However, Ryan swiftly pulled Karin's body until it was pressed against his chest.

Ryan whispered in Karin's ear. “I know you did it on purpose. invite yourself, to get into this elevator with me. You did it, to tease me, right?”

Karin widened her eyes and reflexively pushed Ryan away. Karin then pressed the elevator button to return to the ground floor. However, before she succeeded in doing so. Ryan was holding her hand preventing her from doing that.

"Do not be stupid! Just leave it, it's already done. "It'll be here in a while," warned Ryan.

Karin was forced to refuse to do it. She was standing right in front of the elevator doors with her back to Ryan. Her back felt like it was burning because of Ryan's sharp gaze.

A feeling of relief came to Karin's heart as soon as the elevator door opened and she quickly got out of there, even though it seemed impolite because she was ahead of her boss. She immediately sat down in his place which was right in front of Ryan's office door.

When Ryan passed Karin's table she stopped for a moment. "Tonight you have to work overtime, to make up for your late work hours this morning." He then left Karin's desk and entered his room.

Karin's breath sounded loud, she felt relieved that Ryan had entered his room. 'I have to be able to avoid being close to Mr. Ryan. Don't let me fall under that man's charm,' thought Karin.

Minute after minute passed, until, finally working hours were over. Several workers were seen leaving the office. The atmosphere in the room felt quiet and made Karin a little afraid.

Especially with bosses, like Ryan, who she feels has a magnet that attracts her to act wildly and repeat the mistakes her mother made.

Driving away her anxiety, Karin chose to concentrate on doing her work. She was so engrossed in his work that she didn't notice Ryan, who was squatting in front of the work desk watching her

Feeling like someone was watching her so intensely. Karin looked up from her computer screen. Her eyes immediately met Ryan's eyes, who looked so gentle and calm looking at her.

Karin's lips parted unconsciously when she saw Ryan's presence. “How long have you been in front of me? Why can't I hear your footsteps?" Karin asked.

Ryan's hand reached out to touch Karin's lips and rubbed them gently. "It's taken a long time to find out about your habit of biting your lips and rubbing them using your tongue. Do you mean to tease me?”

Karin reflexively pushed Ryan's hand away from her lips. "Excuse me sir. I didn't mean to tease you and I will try to change my habit of biting my lip if it bothers you."

Ryan laughed softly at that, then straightened up and said, "I don't mind at all, you do it. It's just that your actions made me fantasize about imagining that I was the one biting your lips and fondling them with my tongue."

Karin became nervous about Ryan's seductive words. She also realized that there were only the two of them in this room. She didn't know whether she would be able to escape Ryan's seduction, which so tempted his faith and determination.

“Your eyes move wildly, like a frightened rabbit. You don't need to be afraid that I will eat you! "Not yet, but you will fall into my arms and I never doubt my ability to conquer women," said Ryan, in his baritone voice.

Karin's hand quickly turned off her computer, her eyes remaining fixed on Ryan. If she could, she would run out of this room away from his boss, who continued to seduce her with his looks and words.

Luckily for Karin, suddenly the elevator door, which was located not far from where they were, rang and out came a man wearing a security officer's uniform.

Karin immediately stood up and smiled at the security guard who was walking towards them.

The security guard saluted Ryan and greeted him. "Good night. Mr Ryan! I didn't know that you and your secretary were working overtime."

"No problem! You carried out your duties properly, to check every floor. "Make sure no intruders enter my company," said Ryan.

He then walked towards the special elevator for leaders. Karin walked right behind him and when Karin was about to turn towards the employee-only lift, which was right next to his lift, Ryan grabbed Karin's arm.

“Why get into the elevator alone don't you know that most of the employees here are afraid of having to work late into the night? "Aren't you also afraid that in the elevator there will be a strange man with you who has evil intentions," said Ryan.

He pushed Karin gently into the elevator and they stood so close. “Why is your body shaking? You're not afraid of me, are you? I promise you're safe from my touch for now, but I don't know for how long. "You're too tempting for me to just pass up," Ryan whispered in Karin's ear.

Karin's heart felt like it was going to burst when she heard Ryan's words just now. Luckily, she didn't have to stay in the same elevator for long with Ryan.

She quickly walked out of the Atmaja Corp company building. Once outside the street lights had replaced the sunlight.

Karin walked towards the edge of the road. And when she looked at her watch, a disappointed sigh escaped her lips. "Unlucky! The bus that goes to my apartment has already passed. I was forced to take a taxi and that cost me more money."

Suddenly a black car with dark windows stopped right in front of Karin, making her feel scared.

Karin glanced around, hoping that someone or a vehicle would pass by and be where she could ask for help. However, her hopes did not come true.

"Oh Lord! Am I going to get hurt?” Karin thought.
