BEYOND WORDSThe splattering sound of the rain graced the ears and the rumbling sound resonated throughout the room. Maria was too lost in the chasm to tremble nor was she moved to be scared of the terrifying sounds but it was all in her head. She could have sworn that she heard the heavy sounds of the downpour resounding heavily on her roof. She curled herself up, folding almost into a plain checker of clothes. She felt comfortable yet exhausted after tons of stressed tears that require more effort than a toxic relationship itself. She shut her eyes tightly, enjoying the sound of the downpour that had blended with the normalcy in her ears.
