60. FAITHFUL
My eyes fluttered open and for a second I just lay there, blinking.
Something had woken me up yet as I lay there nothing was heard. A shiver ran down my body but I pulled the cover with my arm and closed my eyes.
A door opened and my eyes shot wide open. Someone was in my room. Who was it, what did they want?
I did not dare ask who it was, just waiting for the inevitable to happen so I could scream my lungs out.
Feet suddenly moved across the room then way closer to the bed only to stop. I squeezed my eyes as if that would make the person go away. More feet patting, moving around the bed then a swipe of cool air as the blankets were pulled back.
