Wyatt sauntered downstairs after getting ready for the day, his mind preoccupied with the looming confrontation with the vampire.

"Silas," he called out as he settled before him. He looked at Wyatt with concern, noticing an improvement from his condition the day before. "How's your wound?"

"Recovering," Wyatt replied, his tone reflecting a mixture of weariness and determination. "Tell me, what brings you here?"

Silas leaned back, a hint of tension in his eyes as he delivered the news. "I came to inform you that our meeting with Beta Aidan is set, but there's a catch."

Wyatt, sensing a hidden agenda, inquired, "And what would that be?"

"He wants us to meet in Pittsburgh," Silas asserted with a note of seriousness.

Wyatt raised a questioning brow. "During the yearly summit?" Silas nodded curtly.

The unspoken question wavered: "What is he planning?"

"I don’t know, but meeting at the yearly summit seems no harm to us," Silas hesitated, a furrow appearing on his forehead as he glanced away
