DON’T LET HER SEDUCE YOU

I ran up into my room and I lock up my room and go and lie in the bed.

I cried so hard because Kunle's mom always find every single opportunity to insult me,Kunle is never the problem because he always defend me despite that we are not real couple, a kunle is a good man and any woman that gets married to him should consider herself lucky because he respects women but the woman should consider herself unlucky because she lacks human sympathy.

I know l and Shade are not in any relationship but I feel she is also human too , I don't like that mom always make her cry at every given opportunity.

I look up to my mom's face and I could see that she is very upset.

"why you always defending that girl? Don't tell me you have started falling

for that village girl because she can never be my daughter in law" she says.

"Mom, I think Dad will be waiting for you at

home and it's almost dinner time " I said checking my time, I know he doesn't eat without you" I said.

"Are you trying to send me away or diverting our discussion from Shade to another discussion? mom says.

"No mom, I just checked my time and then

realized time is far spent" I said.

"Son you cannot dismiss me from your house because of some girl" he says.

"Mom, how can I even send you out of my home? I flung my hand on my mom's

shoulder. "Mom, you are the best mom in the world, the one that tries her best to bring her family together at all cost, I am only trying to let you know dad must be missing you by now"I said, I just have to do this to discharge her because she makes that girl cry too much.

"You are right dear? She replies.

"Thank you very dear, and be careful of that girl and don't let her trick you into falling in love with her" my mom says.

"Don't worry mom,l am a man of my own self respect" I replied.

"Don't forget tomorrow is the photo shoot

because we have to post it on media tomorrow" my mom says.

"Bassey will arrange for a meeting with the PR tomorrow" I replied.

"Ok, I will give a call to know how everything is going on tomorrow *" my mom says.

"Alright mom" I kissed her on her cheek and she picks her handbag and I walk her to her car, she sits at the back seat of the car while her driver drove off, I watch the car drove out compound until it was out of sight.

I returned into the houseI sat down on the couch at the living room with my laptop and the housekeeper came to me.

"Sir the dinner is set "she says, I didn't reply I just nod my head since I was busy on my cellphone going through some mails.

As my housekeeper was leaving, I called her back.

"Mama! Please make sure Shade is served" I said.

"Sir, she said she won't be having dinner that the shawarma and the ice cream is enough for her as dinner" she says.

"That wouldn't take her through the night, this is just 6:30 pm, please get some small chops and refreshments in case she gets hungry in few hours time" I said.

My housekeeper replied and takes her leave

I close my laptop and walk to the dinning.

l just wish I would run away from here althoughI like the fact that I stay here because I can't remember the last time I have control over a huge room like the one I got here, as for food since grandma died I have never eaten good food like this because my co staffs dosen't like

me, I only get to eat what I am giving, It's only what l am giving that l eat and as the youngest they give me food more like left over but it's fine but now I eat those thingsI never get chance to eat but that dosen't mean his mom would keep insulting me and I would stay but thinking back to the settlement after divorce, that would help me and my family but how am I sure I will be settled after everything because

we are in this together but Kunle is a very good guy, I can't stop admiring that face.

" Thank you" I replied , Mariam took her leave and I was going to shut the door when Kunle came around, I was ashamed of myself because l was in a towel.

"Incase you get hungry again, you can always ask the housekeeper or the maid to get you something" he says and turns back.

I quickly shut the door and I looked down at

myself and I regretted not wearing the

bathrobe.

Well that's over now because I wasn't standing naked in front of him anyways.

I sat down on the edge of the bed and bring out the toiletries inside the small bag.

They are toiletries, expensive toiletries, I

smiled happily and I go into the bathroom, I

soakad myself in the bath for so long that I totally worries.

Thirty minutes later, I got out of the tub and wear my one and only best dress since I do not have a night gown, I turn on the Tv, switching from one channel to the other finally I got hooked by a nollywood movie in the end and I lie on the bed watching the movie, I laugh out out and muttered to myself "a prisoner living like a queen afterall I might never get that chance again so let me enjoy the moment.
