Chapter fourteen

Standing in front of him, I could see that he was pretty confused.

“You’re wasting my time. What….” I didn’t even give him the chance to speak before I gave him a slap across the face. Before he could raise his face from the shock of the first slap, I gave him another and then a third as he stared at me, shocked.

I knew, I was stupid, raising my head to an Alpha like him; but the first slap, it was for ever bringing something as sacred as a child into punishments, and the second, it was for ever bringing Lilly into it, and the third? I didn’t really know why I gave him a third slap but it was probably for getting me attracted, for ever making me feel something special, only to end up walking out on me because he felt I was an “easy to access” woman.

Nothing irritated me more than the fact that for the first time, I was this close to officially becoming a woman. I was this close to having my mate like someone who also liked me only to end up with “easy to access”. More than it being a
