Chapter fifty five

AMELIA’s POV..

He was no longer the man I thought he was. He had changed so much and I couldn’t believe it was possible for a person to change so much in such a short period of time. What suddenly came over him and why was he like this?

As I crashed into the bed, closing my eyes as tears streamed down my cheeks, I couldn’t help but recall the horrible sight, the one of him sending the knife through that person and killing them.

I gasped as I wiped my tears. How could I even start to have feelings for someone like him? How could I let the mate bond control me so much that I actually thought he was a different person? I sighed as I remained in my room.

It all hurt, everything did and deep down, I wanted to believe there was a reason for what he did, but I didn’t see any. All I could see was a man who derived pleasure chopping people’s heads off and ending their lives.
