“Then are you implying you were lying to me just now?”

“N-no, I was not,” she grumbled. With that being said, she lifted her eyes to look at him with her eyes being wide and glassy. “You—you won't understand!” She choked out.

“And what makes you come to that conclusion on your own?”

“No one understands me!”

“Hm. Is that so?”

“So you are agreeing with me that you lied. Don't you? You have always been a bad liar, little bird. What makes you certain I cannot catch that little lie that you spouted out through that small mouth of yours?”

“I am not lying!”

“Sure you aren't.”

“I am not!” She was adamant. “It's just...” She trailed.

“Yes?” He pushed her into telling her what was so bothering her to this point.

“Y-you really think that I am lying?”

“Of course.”
