"What... was that?" Barra bombarded me with questions the moment I approached her.

I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. Of course, I couldn't spill everything right then and there. We needed a more private setting.

"Let's talk in a coffee shop," I suggested, guiding her to the nearest one in the mall.

Once we were settled in, she continued her barrage of questions. "My God, girl! You didn't bother telling me about this huge tea?!" she exclaimed, feigning offense.

I couldn't blame my best friend, though. In times of trouble, I always remembered to call her, but when things were going well, I often forgot. That's why I agreed to meet her as soon as possible. After all, none of this would have happened without her.

"I'm sorry, okay?" I apologized, feeling a twinge of guilt.

"I'm so offended," Barra
