The next day, Barra didn't forget to call me for our practice. We met at the Eventide Cabaret.
It was my first time visiting the place in the morning, and I was surprised by how different it looked.
Gone were the countless luxurious cars parked in front of the strip club, the red neon lights, and the bustling activity. Instead, it was completely dull and lifeless.
