“What have you done!”
“Amaia!” The old man cried, as he saw me, atop a man, I was stabbing him severely, pulling out and in again. On his chest.
He ran to me but stopped when he saw my eyes when I looked up to stare at him. He stood and didn’t say anything else.
But I heard him muttered.
“Curse!”
“Stop Amaia, He’s already dead.”
“But I’m not satisfied.” I half yelled. Still stabbing him.
“He came into my territory, I didn’t go out to him, not like I could leave the mansion anyway he came here. For me, he was gonna kill me.” I was yelling, and the more I yelled the more powerful I felt.
I couldn’t control myself, I kill mercilessly, some surge of power would run in me, each time I fought with a wolf. I was desperate to kill them. I don’t know why I felt that way, fighting with a wolf was my satisfaction. I told the old man, but he had refused to say anything to me, that he was gonna explain later when I turned eighteen, and I’ve been waiting like I’ve been waiting my whole life. Waiting for him to tell me why that was what I want to know. But all I got was silence.
I didn’t know why I was locked up here? He didn’t tell me either.
“C’mon Amaia, you’ve to let go of him, he’s dead.”
“Still not satisfied..” I said with a sigh. He took a step closer to me. I moved away from the wolf. I sat down on the ground. He let out a gasp when he saw the wolf. His eyes show signs of pain and regrets and then scared.
“You know him?”
Slowly he nodded.
“Who is he? Why did he come here?”
“He’s a Beta of the moonlight park.”
“A Beta, isn’t that close to the Alpha?”
Sadly, he nods.
I killed the Alpha Beta, What the heck! It sounds amazing!
But the old man looked more worried.“This is bad, Amaia, this is so bad.”
“What’s so bad?” I smiled.
“It’s obvious, they sent they sent him here to kill me, but I kinda disappoint them.” I laughed.
“Amaia..”
I stopped laughing, he only called me in that tone when something bad was gonna happen and how serious he is.
“The Alpha sent him!”
“Then we can leave Novak! We can run away from here.”
“This is the safest place for you, you can’t go out to the world.”
“Why? Why can’t I leave here?”
“Because you’re different.”
“It’s because I’ve no wolf.”
“Yes, you have no wolf and you can’t go into the society of wolves. They will kill you, bad things would happen to you, you’ll regret not being a wolf. You’ll hate yourself. You’ll curse your parents for having you?”
“Was I supposed to die?”
“Amaia, listen to me, I know how you feel.”
“You don’t know how I feel!” I flared up, standing from the ground.
“How would you know, I woke up every day, stronger than before, I grow more in a way I don’t even understand, I can’t even understand myself. What I’m becoming, it’s frightening. See what I did to him.”
“You’re a threat to the wolf..” he blurts out, just in the same high tone I was yelling on.
“You’re a curse!” He shouted.
“And we need to leave here, they’re gonna come kill us and you can’t fight a whole army of a wolf, coming for us!”
I stood dumbstruck, he hurried into the cave, I stood still trying to comprehend what he meant, I was a curse, I was a curse!
I was a threat to the wolf.
I stare down at the wolf on the ground, he was sent to kill me and if he didn’t return, they would know I killed him and they would come to kill us.
The old man and I.
I was here because I was a curse, I had so many questions running in my head and I wanted an answer, I wanted to find out what this curse was all about, I wanted to know, I ran to the cave to see the old man packing our clothes into a bag. He stopped packing when he saw me coming.
“I’m sorry I yelled. I couldn’t control my emotions when I saw the Beta, it would have been bad if he killed you, you only did what you had to, we can’t keep hiding anyway. We need to leave Novak.” He held my shoulders and squeezed them.
“I know you’ve so much to ask but once we’ve got to a safe place and ain’t attacked by the wolf, I’ll tell you everything. Everything about your birth. So safe the questions for later.”
He moved away from him and resume packing our pieces of stuff into the bag.
“You can get your clothes. We’ll be leaving soon.”
I nod. But didn’t leave and watch him packing things in. He stopped when he noticed I was still watching him and went back to meet me again.
“You’re a special breed, Amaia, never forget that. And your wolf would come.
“I’m a curse, is that why I don’t a wolf?”
“It would come. It would come.”
“You keep saying that.”
“Because it’s true. Trust me.”
“I always do.” He pulled me into a hug. After he pulls away he kissed my forehead.
“You need to learn to control your powers.”
“You’re gonna teach me ain’t you.”
“I’ll.. but first, wait up..” he walked over to the place he kept our bags and took a book out of it. He handed it to me.
“Read it once we’re safe. I wrote some stuff down for you.”
I nodded and took the note, still shaking in fright.
“Don’t be scared, you could get cured.”
“How?”
“We’ll find out soon enough.”
“Why didn’t you tell me, that I was...” my eyes sting with tears.
“That’s why they abandoned me.”
He pulled me into a hug again.
“You’ll know everything so enough.” I cried on his shoulders. He pats my bad, drawing circles on it.
“It’s okay.”
It only made me cry harder...
Moments after, I was stuffing my long hoodies into my bag, while I stare at the dark clouds through the hole in the small space where I slept. I sniffed and continued stuffing in the stuff I would need.
What’s all this?
I don’t wanna cry anymore, now I was aware of the reason I was having this gut feeling of killing a wolf each time I see one. I was a threat to them. Because of the curse in me, my hands went to my neck, there was a mark in there, the old made me promise to always hide them.
It was something the wolf shouldn’t see, none of them should. My hands went back to the book he gave me and I tucked them into the bag, standing up my feet, I was prepared to leave the cave, but then I heard a sound, heavy feet. I was sensitive to sound, so I was able to know something was coming and it wasn’t just something ordinary, it was an army of the wolves.
They were here, so soon. Had they been waiting for a signal, they had been outside all this while. They all came together. To kill me especially, I had to protect the old man, I flung the bag over my shoulders. Running out of the room, I met him already prepared. He was staring at me. He saw my gaze and he became worried too.
“Let’s go..” I cried. Holding his hands.
“They’re here.”
“What?”
He looked surprised.
“Let’s go!” I yelled.
“The wolf is here already!” I screamed in his face. He nods and gripped my hands.
“C’mon Amaia!”
And together, with his hands gripping mine, we ran out of the cave, running out of our home, the place that was once our home.
Were we running to? We had no idea, we can’t be faster than the wolf, we can’t run faster than them, they would get to us, they would catch up with us, I was scared of the old man, though he could fight this wasn’t just a wolf but more than one. And they could kill him. I don’t want him dead yet, I wanted him alive, he was all I’ve got. And he needs to be alive for me, I’ve got a lot to ask, I a lot to know about me.
His grip on my hands tighten, as we ran, heading north of the forest. But it seems we were surrounded. I could hear the wolf running, I could hear them running to us.
“Faster old man!”
“You know I’m old, I can’t run faster and you know I’m not a wolf either.”
“Who the hell are you?” I yelled.
“I’m not gonna leave him behind.”
“Seems that’s what we’re gonna do, we need to split..”
“No, I’ll fight..”
“Amaia listens to me, You’ll go south, I’ll go west. Then we’ll meet at some cavalry.” He squeezed my hands. Trust me, I’ll be fine.”
“I’ll not agree to that.”
“Go, just go, that’s the best for us.”
“It’s all my fault, I shouldn’t have killed him.”
“Stop it, it isn’t your fault it was made to happen. It has to happen. This isn’t your first kill. You’ve been killing the wolf, I’m sure the Alpha had been aware of it. He’s been planning to kill you.”
I sniffed.
“But..”
“No, but.. just go now!”
I held his hands, refusing to let go of them. Seeing I was hesitant. He places a hand over mine.
“You have to go..”
“We’re going together.”
“Now isn’t the time to be stubborn!” He half yelled.
“I can’t leave you behind.”
“You ain’t leaving me we’re gonna meet at sona, we’ll meet there, if we split, it would only make it easier for us to run faster.”
“You promise you’ll meet me up there.”
“I’ll promise.”
Sona was the mountain after Novak, it was the gate of the forest, a secret gateway that would lead us out of the mountains. It was a narrow path, why narrow? Because it’s dangerous. It’s a risk, it was said there’s a monster who dwells in there, and you could never go out after you get in, alive.
That’s where we were going. And from there, if we survived, we’re going someway, a park.
We’re gonna live like the rest of the pack members.
That’s all my thoughts...
I was gonna protect the old man, he was my parent, he saved me, feed me and trained me, more reasons I’ve to protect him.
I watched him run off running to the west, his feet were feeble, he was really old, could he be about a thousand or so, that’s my estimation, but he was old, I was sure of it.
I waited. Till I was sure he has gone far.
I waited for a while if I could see any of the wolves coming, there wasn’t anyone in sight. I waited.
Waiting for them, I wanted to see them and distract them, so they could come for me instead. I was waiting, and then I saw them. About three wolves. My hood was covering my face, I doubt if they could see my face. I stood for a while. And heard them growl.
“We’ve found the killer!” One of them yelled. He raised a signal to the sky. He was giving them a signal where she was.
I ran now, running as fast I could
“Leave the killer to me!” I turned to see who had spoken, he was tall and huge, tanned skin, blue eyes, his muscles were fully parked, he was sinfully handsome, his appearance was appealing, he had the perfect square jaw, was a warrior, was he a Beta or one of the Alpha’s son, the old man had told her, the alpha of moonlight park which was the closest to the Novak forest which was my home had four sons, he didn’t tell me their names, so I had no idea who was who, but I know the alpha of the park was Wren, he was still ruling currently. There wasn’t anything special about him except he spoke with authority, who was he?
I shouldn’t care, should I?
Our eyes met, he looked at me, my green eyes staring at him.
Then I ran!
He ran after me, faster than the rest and out of the corner of my eyes I watched him shift to his wolf form, he wasn’t just a small wolf, he was big, ten times bigger than any wolf she had seen. He ran with so much speed, I was having doubts if I could reach the sona before he attacks me, because he was running so fast. So fast.
I was scared now, scared that I got get hurt, scared that, I could hurt him, scared of what would happen. Running when he was just behind me. We were almost close to the sona, before I could take the next step, he pounced on me from behind, I fell with him on top of me. My back hitting the ground.
I let out a tight gasp.
I thought he was gonna attack that instant, he stopped and did nothing but watched me
I head-butted him. He back away from me, I stood up and ran, I didn’t want to fight him, so I ran!
He shifted back to his form, and he was naked, I looked away, running, I didn’t wanna see all that I’d already seen.
I must be silly, staring at the naked wolf, my cheek flush in embarrassment at the sight of it. So I ran faster than I did,
When I glance back I heard him being bickering. I shouldn’t care.
Running to the sona was my only option, I need to meet with the old man, that was my thought.
Then I saw him. He was running, he seems tired and stressed out, I heavies a sigh of relief, he made it. He did.
I was running to him but halted when I saw a wolf behind him.
“No!” I screamed.
The wolf was big, just right behind him.
“Watch out!”
I had to run faster so I could get to him. But it seems the faster I was running the slower it was, the wolf thrust his claws into the back of my father...
“Papa!” I yelled.
The claws went deeper, my feet automatically halt. My eyes popped out of their socket the first time. My fist tightens beside me. I was gonna kill the wolf.
I sprinted to them. Sniffing as I ran, he fell face down on the ground.
I pushed the wolf off him with force, he fell back, I pulled out my danger.
“Ready did a spar wolf?” I mocked.
He jerks up his feet. And poised, ready to attack me. And we fought. He flipped me over his shoulders, I fell but was quick to regain my balance, I was ready to strike again, my eyes were red now, and there’s no way I was gonna let the wolf live. We walked around in a circle, steadily, while catching our breath.
He growl and rushed to attack me, I ducked and cut his arm with my dagger. He groans and charges at me again.
I ran to him and didn’t wait for him to come to me. I hurl the dagger in his chest.
He fell, I jumped and stabbed his forehead with the dagger.
He came falling right in front of my feet.
I wasn’t satisfied when he died but I had to let go, I pulled out my dagger and ran to the old man.
He was puking out blood from his mouth.
“Amaia...”
“Shh. I’ll get you treated.”
He shook his head.
“I’ve fulfilled my destiny. This is my fate.”
“No, you told me we can create our destiny, you told me that it was my fate to die from birth but it didn’t happen because it was changed. We could change this too.”
“You can’t cheat nature.”
“Don’t say any more words. I’ll take you.”
He shook his head. He was stubborn but he keeps denying that, saying am the one who’s stubborn but he’s.
“Go now. Don’t let them get you, they won’t spare you, the moonlight rulers are wicked. Don’t...” he shut his eyes.
“Look for the seer. I lied that I was. I wasn’t.. look for him. He’ll help you, find the seer. Find Amaia.”
“Open your eyes. Please.”
“Go!” He whispered.
“Now.”
They were coming. I stood up with tears in my eyes.
“It isn’t your fault. It’s mine. I caused all this, Don’t blame yourself. You’ve got a great future ahead of you. And I know you’ll overcome quite well without me, you’re been a good student.” He touched my face, I ended up crying.
“Don’t waste it on an old man like me.”
“I’m sorry.” I cried.
“I’m so sorry.”
“You must survive.” That was the last word and I made I promise to him that I would be safe, and I had to be safe.
****It was part of the curse, who loves You’ll die, whoever you love will die, if the curse lives, it would be a danger to life itself.*****
*The seer*
Standing up, with the dagger in my hands. I wipe my tears away and ran towards the sona Calvary.
“No!” I heard someone scream. When I turned, I saw the handsome wolf from before who had let me go after he got me. And before I could blink, I was shot with an arrow!
It pierced into my right hand. I groaned.
And resume running into the sona.
“Don’t!”
I didn’t bother looking again.
I ran across the small waters that lead into the sona, running for my safety. Though it won’t be my safety completely, I could stay there because I had to survive, I had to be away from the wolf.
I had to be hidden.
Tears were still pouring down my cheek as I ran with the arrow still glued to my hand. I was crying so hard. My chest was burning, it felt like I was dying.
I was a step away from entering, I saw the wolf who had been chasing me all stopped. The handsome wolf looked pained. For his reasons which I don’t seem to care about. I had to go in, else the wolf would kill me and then I would die and everything would end.
No!
I don’t want that.
I entered the sona Calvary, the most dreadful forest. It was out of moonlight and Novak, it lead to an entirely different park.
I park I had no idea of but I was gonna find out, however.
When I got in. I sat down and cried, that was what I had to do, I cried for a long time, hugging my feet and crying. Crying, why I was like this, I felt miserable. I felt horrible and I don’t know how I was gonna get rid of this feeling that was hurting me deep down.
I didn’t want him dead.
Why did they have to kill him, it was me they wanted, why didn’t they spare him. They should I’ve killed me instead.
“You shouldn’t be here, cry princess.” I heard those words, I didn’t know if it was directed to me or someone else, I didn’t bother replying or doing anything like I heard what just happened.
“Cry, princess.”
I snap my head around, I saw no one. I had haven’t gone far into it, I was still close to leaving if I wanted to. I just needed some comfort.
“I need to stay here for a while. Some people are after me. I’m gonna leave once they’re gone.”
“You shouldn’t say that.”
“Who are you?”
“Heard of the witch?”
I sniffed, cleaning my face with my clothes.
“Witches?”
“Yes, princess.”
“I’m not a princess. I’m just a stupid child that shouldn’t have been born and when born was able to escape being killed.”
“Oh so you mean, you’re the cursed princess.”
“I said I’m...” I decide to let it slide, as far as they don’t kill me.
“You’re not gonna kill me are you?”
“Not me. Heard of Dracula?”
I jumped up.
“Vampires.”
I didn’t see who was talking, my hands clasped together. He told me about vampires, he told me they were scary, they are enemies of the wolf.
“Don’t search for me, you can’t find me, if you can pass the Dracula, you’ll be free and we’ll worship you.”
“I don’t want you to worship me. I just need a safe place.”
I heard a laugh. I clutched my fist beside me. I wasn’t gonna fight the vampires, I had to leave this place. Was the monster they had talked about the vampire.
She was never told.
“You can’t leave here, you go back there and the wolf kills, and you stay here and you fight. There’s a chance of you winning.”
“There’s a chance of winning the wolf too.”
I heard chuckles.
I ran back to the place I got in from but there was no way out. I ran back to where I was, it was all confusing.
I was trapped!
ZYAIR POV“We can’t stand and watch this happening.” Father was saying in the meeting, I was getting bored already, I wanted to go into Novak forest and see whoever the bitch was, I wasn’t into all these talking of bullshit, I sighed tiredly where I sat, father was quite old and he was still the Alpha, I don’t think he’ll be handing over that post very soon. He seems to be so much into it. Sean who was our eldest is probably tired of waiting to be the next alpha, and I have been the last of three others, Sean, Jason, And Cartel. I wasn’t closed to any of them, they were always against me, I ended up being hated, don’t ask me why, I have no idea either. My eyes were off the alpha seat because there was no way I was gonna seat there, so I had nothing to do with any issues concerning the Alpha, not until this current issue came o
“...let’s go!” That was the only part I heard as we moved out, I didn’t care to listen to the rest words he said.We walked out of the park house, every one of us, we were about a hundred. The Beta was the one to go in first, that was the plan Sean made, though it was a stupid plan, and give us a signal if the killer was there. And if he wasn’t out in five or ten minutes. We strike. We were approaching the forest, we stopped outside the forest. It was far from the park house, we didn’t take the cars, neither did we use the special horse, we all walked towards the forest. It was that early in the morning, and hardly was anyone out there everyone had been indoors, that was the order the Alpha made, everyone should b
“Leave the killer to me!” I yelled. And ran faster. He stopped and twirls around to face me. Taking in my appearance, I stare at green eyes. Something about those eyes, as it watched me, studied me, Observed me.Then he ran, I ran after him. There’s no way I was gonna let the small boy escape me. When I was close to the killer I shifted to my wolf form, which could alone be a threat to him seeing how huge I was.He ran faster, he was heading towards the sona, sona Calvary, it was out of the Novak, no one from the park had ever gone there. It was forbidden for anyone to go in there. It wasn’t part of moonlight park or the neighboring park around. Before he could take the next step, I pounced on him, he fell. Hitting his back on the ground, while I was on top of him. My claws
Amaia POVI was pacing around for a while, I didn’t hear the voices anymore, neither was there any sound. I was scared, I don’t know what was happening to me and I don’t wanna fight anything. I just wanna leave here.I was scared, scared of what I was becoming, scared of what’s gonna happen to me. All my life I had never been this scared. But here I was. So shaken and scared. I don’t wanna be this cursed girl, I wanted to be free, like every young girl my age. Happy with their wolf. And perhaps find their mate. But no, I didn’t get that. I couldn’t get it.Then I heard a low growl sound, I was started, but I kept my ground. Though I was having cold feet.I was just a girl that was scared of myself, scared of
Something sticky was touching my face, I wipe them off with my hands and slowly opened my eyes. It was still dropping, I opened my eyes fully, it was blood, blood was dripping on my face, I jerk up, I had slept off few meters away from the cave, I had slept under a tree.I looked up and saw the blood was dropping off from the tree. What or who was there. I had to climb the tree to know who was there. I saw someone, wounded, he was lying on the tree, his eyes were closed and he was sweating profusely. I touched his forehead, I almost fell off as I misplace my feet. He was running temperature. I had to bring him down, I couldn’t lift him or carry him, so I pushed him, he fell right into the place I had slept in.I had to climb down. And I did. Going to him, I squat and examine his wound, it was obviously from a fight.
We walked for a long and decided to sit down for a while. We sat in silence, my stomach was grumbling, I was hungry and tired, am sure he was feeling the same too. But we didn’t say a word about it. We were both leaning on the tree, the only thing we heard was our breathing. And then we heard something else. A sound as it runs through the dried leaves. We jerk forward in an alert. “You heard that.” “I did.” “What do you think it could be?” “A wolf,” I answered, I could perceive it already. And it wasn’t a small wolf. It was big, a grown wolf was coming at us. “You stay here, I’m gonn
I was running back to the Novak forest, Creamy was behind me, trying to keep up the pace. But I was running faster since I had shifted. I was here again, it was three days now, I’ve been coming here. But there hasn’t been any trace of her. She didn’t come back to the Novak forest maybe today that I was here she might probably be here. So I ran as fast as I could.“Wait up zyair!”I had to be there if probably I could see her and then what..?What would I do next if I see her, how am I gonna approach her, what will I say?I had to see her first right? Before anything else. But for now, I wanted to know if she’s safe.I arrived at the cave before Creamy could meet up. I ran into it, nothing, it was just as it was. She wasn’t here, she di
“Something bad is already happening..” we turned to see Sean by the door, he pushed it wider, as he got in.“Never heard of knocking. You should stop that. I’ve told you countless times. Why didn’t you lock the door!” I gritted my teeth.“Whatever, I’m sure you're whatever.” When he said whatever he was referring to Creamy, I wanted to punch, my wolf was getting angry already. I had to calm him down.“..Told you about the upcoming event.” He was glancing around my room. I had my gaze on Creamy, maybe that was what he was about to tell me, he hadn’t gotten the chance to.“..since we had no idea what you’ve been up, running around the Novak forest, there shouldn’
A love that conquers all. A love that’s willing and that’s it’s giving its all. Love like magic. The Seer.It was the festival of the year, that had been organized and different pack members and their alpha were all there to celebrate the new season with them. In all, you could the happiness in the air. “..I’ve always known, you would be great and it’s just getting started.”“Thank you, Carlos.” They hugged for a minute.“I’ve seen your mate around, Where’s she?” “She’s with our son.” Zyair moves a bit away from him. Keeping a little distance between them. “..Having him dressed up.”“I didn’t know, you’d a son already..”“It’s...” he didn’t know how he was gonna explain it. Carlos was one of the alphas he didn’t want to deceive. “You don’t have to explain it. I understand.” He tapped his shoulders. “I thought you won’t be able to come.” “I couldn’t miss the chance of seeing you and your mate. And you won’t be going back to the salmon pack.” “We’re expanding the pack. We would
I came to the house to meet some commotion, I’d nothing to take home with me so I didn’t bring anything but just myself. I’d to come back here to the house, it was where I should be. That doesn’t mean I won’t be with my parents. I was still with them. Tomorrow, was the new year festival. That we’d been planning. I had to come home because of that. So we could put things in other. And tomorrow would begin another season in our lives. And I was here to have it all sorted out. But this wasn’t what I thought I was gonna see when I arrived and walked into the house. There was a knife in the hands of Selina, which I’d gotten to know was her name. She was standing with Zane with the knife pointing at him. I halted on my track. What was she trying to do? Kill her son. “..if you ain’t gonna accept me. I’m gonna kill him and kill myself. I loved you first! How could you forget about me!” “I never loved you, Selina!” He yelled. “It’s a lie! You fucking liar!”“..and you better dropped th
Amaia pov It was today Creamy was going to take me to see father, and I was all dressed up for the journey. I was outside the house when I suddenly fell, and the next thing that happened was a big vase that fell right next to me. I didn’t understand for a moment. But I knew I just escaped the vase that was met to hit me on the head. I looked up, no one in view would’ve hurled the vase at me. How did I even escape it? I didn’t know how it happened. This I would’ve to sort out by myself. I walked to the front door of the house about to go in. I had been feeling nothing but happiness until that incident happened and got my thoughts all in the mud. It went worse when a lady came out of the house with a child in her hand. The baby I recognize to he Zyair’s. Her eyes met mine. And she looked at me, up and down, with a bit surprised look on her face and her eyes went to the broken vase next. I bite the side of my cheeks. Keeping my cool. The bastard didn’t tell me she lived with him!Ho
Zyair pov “Alpha!” “What’s it, Franco?” I looked up from my journals. As he stood by the door grinning from ear to ear. Like he won some lottery.“She’s awake! The Luna is awake!”Why did my heart jump, not happiness but something else? “Oh.” I mouthed. “You don’t seem happy alpha.”“I’m happy.” I faux a smile and close the journal I was reading.“You’re going to meet her now, should I prepare the horse.”“Oh, yes.” I faked and laughed. Like some kind of a fool. I didn’t know what was wrong with me, I’ve been feeling so guilty ever since. I don’t know how to approach her. What to say or how I would go about it. Just while Franco left, Creamy came in. Now I think I need a padlock on my door. This trespasser! He didn’t pay anything attention to me but paced up and down the study room. “She’s awake.”“I just heard.” “She would ask of her father.”“She would ask about Zane.”“Zane is alive, not dead.”“Zane is the son I’ve got from someone who is not my mate.”“Yours is easier than
Amaia Pov The wound on my arm was getting healed, but deep down I felt hurt. I was among wolves but non could talk to me or see me. I was just there, still on my white dress and beneath the tree, I’d woke up from. All I do was stare at each wolf that walked past me. There was nothing else, I didn’t know how long I’d stayed or how long I would continue to be here. I pulled my knees together and hugged them. “...there’s something about this tree don’t you think?” I lift my eyes and saw his eyes. He was staring at me but not me because he couldn’t see me but the tree but what if he could see me? I doubt that.Zyair! I jerked up from the ground and made to run to him.“There’s nothing special about it.” I halted when I heard the voice, I turned my gaze to his side and saw the woman beside me and a little boy. I parted my lips but I didn’t know what to say. “The view is nice here too.” “I’ll only agree on that. Let’s go.”“Zyair..” I whispered and dragged my feet towards them. Maybe
Ever since I was told my mate was dead. That had been the reason why I flirt around so much. Because then I’d thought there was no one to be my mate since she was already dead not until I found out later that she was alive when I met at Novak forest with the intent to have her killed. Everyone thought I would get married to her since I’d no mate and I could marry anyone. And we were so close back then. Should I go back and lay on the bed? I haven’t woken up yet. And faked dead. That would be stupid. But still, I wanted to run from this moment.“He’s your son, Alpha.” The tension in the air was acute, everyone was silent and it was just the stiff air that was stuck in our lungs: Creamy came to my side and broke the silence. When he took a good look at the woman who came in. “Blonde bitch Selina!” He then recognized her and even remembered her name because I’d forgotten it. I know we’d had a thing going on for a long time before I left moonlight pack that night. And I did try to cle
.. I hope you’ll always recognize me regardless of how I would change.” That was when my eyes opened, and I became aware of my consciousness. That I was alive now. It was Amaia's voice that I heard. And then at the night I last saw her. The disgusted look I gave her and how she looked disappointed and flee. Even after she’d said those words to me. I shouldn’t have let her know I got scared of her that night. I shouldn’t have let an inch of it shows. But then it did and there was nothing I could do to change it. All the way, it had been better if she hadn’t seen me that night. I was awake before Creamy came into the room, so I acted like I wasn’t and listened to what he had to say. It had to be dramatic don’t you think? If he’d come in and met my eyes opened it won’t have been as dramatic as I wanted it to be. I heard everything he said about her, how she left and went through everything and even had to face death. I heard everything even when I made a little sniffing sound, he didn
Creamy Pov Though she told me to stay with Zyair I still couldn’t help but be worried about her, so I left Creamy to see if everything was alright. I just wanted to see her and when he woke up I’ll have something to tell him. How brave she was.“Is she dead?” I asked the seer when I got there. There was blood all over her clothes and the place she lay. Her eyes were shut, I doubt if she heard me. She would probably be mad at me. Because I came here when she warned me not to. “At the brink of it.” “What would happen now?” “She would’ve to fight against the curse.” “And if she defeats it.” “We’ll have to wait for her to wake up.” “How long would that take.” “That's if she ever wakes.”“What do you mean?” “She’s fighting, life, and death. She might wake with a low probability of that happening. She might get wounded by Dale.”“Who’s that.”“The cursed that’s in her, if it wins, Amaia would never be found again. Though it would still be her body.”“If She gets wounded what happen
...I never expected her to come for me that way, with so much force. That swept me off my feet.My back hits the ground with a hard pressure that I almost thought I cracked a bone in there. Her left leg was on my neck and she was strangling me. “I told you. You’re just a weak hybrid nothing special.” My face had gone all red up and my breath was heavy. She twist her feet on my neck, and my hands were wrapped against my leg but there was nothing much I could do to stop her from hurting me. “It won’t be fun if you die this way. Let’s have fun..” she removed her legs from my neck. I coughed immediately after I was free from her grip. “Run!” My hands were on the ground and I pulled myself up from there. “If I get you, it’s all over. Amaia.” “You shouldn’t be in me, I don’t want to be cursed or lived that way.”“Cursed? You silly, you’re just privileged to have such powers. Ungrateful brat you’re.” “I don’t want to be cursed. No!”Veins bulged in her forehead, and she shrieked.
