Talking about your problems to the right listening ears is half solving it and reducing the burden.

THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V
In one of the prestigious hotel sat three young people: Humeyra, Wahid and Hamdan. Wahid was not yet over the fact that his first love was going to marry someone else. He felt resentful yet his love for her was enough to keep him seated ready to protect her if need be for today he was her Mahram. He was ready to concede to any decision she makes if it made her happy. He was seated far enough from the two to give them some privacy where as he can hear them too. Though not related by blood he had the responsibility to protect her as her brother for they grew up together under the same roof.
In the secluded family room on the other table sat a young lady and her man talking.
“Asalamu aleikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu ya Habibti,
THIRD PERSON'S P.O.VHamdan was in a panicked state while Wahid was on the verge of a breakdown due to the intensity of his guilt for what he had done to his sister before. He had no idea that her past was uglier than the scariest horror movies out there for this was no fiction but a real life experience. It was a wonder she was still sane after witnessing such a gruesome incident which even a grown up won’t be able to handle.Hamdan's dam was overflowing with tears as well. He had rejected her once upon a time without really getting to know her as a person. He had judged her as just another spoilt little brat who had no Hayaa yet what he discovered today pieced his heart as if he had numerous tiny invincible pieces of needle poking at it.He ached for her 10 year old self whereas he felt for the 23year old girl who kept such a dark past buried for 13 long years. He ached for his love.“I never knew that she had gone through such a nightmarish e
The level of possessiveness differs from one person to another and from one gender to another. It’s widely known that men are more possessive but the fact remains, women are more possessive. What makes the difference is that women have more patience.~HumeyraTHIRD PERSON'S P.O.VIt was weird how every time she forgets her principles with that man by her side. The two ended up spending the night in the same room. How did it get to that stage?ImmediatelyWahid left, Hamdan had embraced Humeyra after apologizing to her. Humeyra was too perplexed to react at first given as she had the love of her life crying on her chest. She snapped out of the shock but it was replaced by worry and guilt for what Hamdan did was beyond any limits set for two people in love by religion as well as her own principles, however, she was afraid to say it out loud.In the end she was overwhelmed thinking about the punishmen
Juweyriya’s p.o.vI heard about their Nikah. Itwas a happy moment for them but for me, it was the opposite. I had to pick up the pieces of my broken heart. I spent all my life getting everything I ever wanted. Whenever I wanted something, dad made sure to provide it even if it would be snatched from another. I was raised by my father after my mother’s death.Juweyriya was a princess and will always be one. Well, I gave the two love birds enough time to enjoy each other’s company. It’s timeto implement my plan. You won’t know what hits you. Just you wait and see. You have not won yet.I called my other partners in crime and the plan was set to motion.Third person’s p.o.vHumeyra woke up in what looked like a bed room.A spacious one for that matter but she was not familiar with it.She began to panic but tried to calm herself. The last thing she recalled was cooki
THIRD PERSON'S P.O.VThings are not always as they seem. Do not believe everything you see for there are always two sides of a coin.Assumption is the mother of wrong judgement.Hamdan was at the office for the first time after he took a two weeks break to stay with his new bride. He felt extremely joyous and contented. He had all he ever needed. What else could he ask for! As he continued on with his work, Hamdan got a notification on his phone. It was almost time for lunch and he anticipated going back to eat his zawj’s delicious meal. He decided to check the notification which was from an unknown number. He didn’t expect to see what he saw. He knew that face too well. He woke up to it every single morning after their nikah and fell asleep watching his angel! No! It can’t be! She……she possibly couldn’t cheat on him with another man! No…..not his Humeyra! How! How could she do that to him? Ho
THIRD PERSON'S P.O.VIt's a beautiful cloudless night. The breeze is cold and the wind was making it colder. In an old man's embrace laid a broken soul that lost her voice for the second time in her life. The mood is gloomy. Gloomier than funeral as the father and brother duo tried to figure out what broke their angel. The broken angel, however, was whimpering like a wounded cub. Tears as precious as the last drops of water in desert, where the scotching sun burns hot the oasis completely dry and the desert unbearably. Tears like water from a running tap, all shed for the one person to whom her heart belongs. The one whose love hurts her most. Tears worthy of bullets. How bitter the salty water from the eyes when triggered by the darkest deepest memories that you tried to bury for years. These were all Humeyra's feelings. It has been less than 24 hours since she experienced the nightmares she has tried her hardest to forget. She was on the verge of
HAMDAN’S P.O.VI was once again in Humeyra’s room on my knees like I have been doing every other day that I paid a visit to her home. I have made numerous mistakes in life and hurt a lot of people in this world, yet the one that I have hurt the most is the one I love the most too. Ever since my anger clouded my judgments and my ego took over my senses, my beloved Zawjy has been staying at her father’s place for almost a month now. Knowing that her father was suffering from last stage cancer was not helping the already difficult situation. My guilt increased ten folds just thinking about it but she needs me and giving up was not an option.Today was no exemption. Like every other day I have been visiting, she looks numb as her eyes seemed lifeless. As I kneel in front of my other half, she looked at me with no feelings whatsoever in her eyes where her face was devoid of all emotions. I felt as if I was staring in to a bottomless pit of darkness as
DeathLife without struggles is not living but simply existing. It's the hardship and struggles that you face which make you stronger and a better person. It's the hate that you receive that helps you become stronger. It's the love that you feel that keeps you on your toes. You dont have to impress anyone rather people have to be impressed by you for who you really are. Those who truly love you will stay and stick around even when they see your ugly side. They will accept you wholeheartedly without hesitation and will defend you without asking for anything in return. Be the hero that you are. Make someone's life easier whenever you can. Do not be afraid to love and show those your love the affection you have for them. Rather embrace them and shower them with love and remind them of your love for death comes with no warning. It neither knocks nor seeks permission. It just takes.~Humeyra
Humeyra’s letterI love you my dearest daughter. That is the first thing I would like you to know and always remember. There are a lot of secrets I kept from you my dearest darling girl. Did you know that I was an orphan child who was brought up by your grandmother as her own child? Did you know that you father was my foster brother? I grew up with your father and know each and every one of his habits. His greatest strength was his sensitivity to the people around him and his major weakness was his ability to overthink things. He was the best brother any man could ask for and the best friend any man could ever have. As for you my darling girl, you took after your father’s virtues and your mother’s strengths. You were always the most gifted child your father had and though he never voiced it out, you were his pride and my little angel. I fell in love with you the day you were born. I was lucky enough to name you and hold you. Then you became my
4 years later.Khalid, come back here? Hey.. can you stop running around? You will get hurt." Wahid's voice resonated in the room grabbing Xander's attention. He placed the jug back on the table and walked towards the field where the voice came from. He wasn't the only one whose attention was grabbed. Farhana, Rumeysa, Muntaha, Humeyra, and every member of Hamdan's family walked out towards the field. There, the scene that greeted them made the ladies almost lose it as they laughed at the same time. Khalid, Laiba, Linah, Jibril, Murtaza, and Aliya were busy rolling in the mud.The field that was initially dry was now wet from the water they played with. The horse pipe was running. Wahid who had seen them first was trying to stop them but slipped and fell. This made everyone laugh. Seeing his beloved fall, Xander's heart almost stopped beating. " My little prince, are you alright?" He rushed towards Wahid and helped him up.His glare was too
Hamdan paced up and down along the corridor as he anxiously waited for news. He had rushed Humeyra to the hospital the minute she notified him of her water breaking.Fortunately, the hospital wasn't far from where they were. Looking at his wristwatch, a frown etched on his face. It had been three hours since he brought her here. Why wasnt there any news yet?Was she perhaps in danger? Did something go wrong? His mind was filled with all sorts of negative thoughts. It would be his fault if anything happens to her. His guilty conscience won't let him have peace."Ya Allah. Please, help her deliver safely. Please ya, Rahman. You are the most merciful. She has suffered a lot already. Don't let her suffer anymore."He prayed in his head as he continued pacing around. He couldn't bring himself to relax. Until he heard the cries of a baby. His heart stopped beating for a second. He was a father? Before he could arrange his thoughts in his mind, another cry follo
Humeyra walked along the beach enjoying the cool breeze. Fortunately, it was a private space. Her private space. She has been living in the Villa with the view of the beach to the front, the beautiful man-made forest to the back, and a buzzing town not far from where she lived. She was on a small Islamic Island. The mosque was towards the east. Anyone who wanted to visit the mosque walled around her place before getting to it. For this reason, she had let the people freely walk through her home three days a week. The other four days, the place was restricted. Anyone who wanted to move across would be forced to take the longer route. Fortunately, they understood boundaries and respected them. The neighborhood was not only friendly but also accommodating. She found herself feeling contented just walking around, interacting with them. Long gone was her introverted self who isolated herself from the world. She learned to embrace death as a natural phenomenon
Hamdan was home in no time.He had to settle things at home before he goes in search of his wife. As the first child of the family, both his sisters were now his responsibility.Fortunately, they were old enough to fend for themselves with enough supervision. In addition, three other men can take turns to check on them. He felt grateful for that simple fact.As he waited for his brothers to show up, he went back to his old room and packed a bag. He felt as though his heart was being squeezed in his chest. He was too deep in his emotional exhaustion that he forgot about Humeyra's pregnancy.Thirty minutes later, the entire Umar siblings were seated together waiting for their brother to say something. He had summoned everyone urgently. Abdirahman had a subtle smile on his face. He had an idea what the meeting was about. He had been wanting to tell Hamdan about his opinion. What his eldest brother did was stupid. Humeyra didn't deserve to be abandoned
It has been exactly three months since his parents' demise. Three months since he abandoned his pregnant wife. For this period, Hamdan never had a peaceful sleep. He couldn't help but wonder what had happened to his love for her. He could feel it. The racing of his heart whenever he thought of a fond memory with her.The way his hands would search for her svelte frame in the middle of the night. Even how he would unconsciously call out her name.Hamdan was aware that there was nothing in the world that could change his feelings for his wife. Not even the fact that she orchestrated his parents' death. What he couldn't forget, however, was his parents' blood. He couldn't take it. He had both parents one day and then the next, they were dead. The reason was no other than his most beloved person. He couldn't accept it. He could neither forgive his parents nor his wife. They were all guilty. He felt sick and suffocated all of a sudden. For the past thre
Muntaha's eyes have been staring longingly towards the curtains that were drawn. What was Rumeysa doing? Was she nervous or was she anxiously waiting for him? How does she look as a bride? As he drunk from his glass, he had several questions circumnavigating his mind.It was their wedding night after all. Unfortunately, he had not seen his bride the whole day. She was officially his halal wife. His one and only. He was a man used to having his way with women. Contrary to his initial thoughts, he found himself feeling regretful. How beautiful and memorable it would be if he had saved himself for his bride.Abdullah noticed Muntaha's gaze wandering from time to time. He wanted to stick around longer. Just to see how much longer his boss cum friend will resist the temptation. Yet, watching him was becoming a pain. He looked around at the men in the room and announced the end of the party. The men looked at each other in understanding and stood up leaving, one by on
Subhanallah, what a beautiful day it was. Rumeysa woke up feeling nervous. She was going to get married today. Will the event go well?was there something she was supposed to do? what would happen after the nikah? Was she allowed to be happy when Humeyra was not?She looked at her hands. They looked more b
Rumeysa walked around the orphanage inspecting every corner. A month had gone past so fast without any warning. She and Muntaha went back to their home country after meeting with everyone else. Humeyra was the only one they didn't have the pleasure to see. She disappeared without a warning. The first thin
Zuneir and Juweyriya were finally feeling at ease with their circumstances. They had faced a lot of things but, by the end of it all, they found each other. The bane that was in his heart finally faded away. He let go of everything that would hurt him and embraced those that were likely to bring him happiness.
