Emilia~

I let out another sigh for the umpteenth time tonight.

The day was over and I had been saddled with the responsibility of closing the diner for the night. It was actually Chloe's responsibility, but I really don't know where she keeps running off to, these days.

Times like this, I wish I had a cellphone or I at least, know how to drive. Now I had to do everything, and still find my way home by myself.

I was now going from table to table, collecting all the used dishes and cutleries. I might not be able to wash them all tonight, but I definitely wasn't going to leave them lying there.

Something caught my attention from outside the diner, and I raised up my head to look out the glass window.

It was the black sedan again, the same car that had followed me all the way home, just the other day. It was parked across from the diner, and I could see a man in black coat, leaning against the front door with a cigarette in his hand.

Our eyes met, and instant chills went down my spine. H

EmiliaI covered my ears with my hands, as sounds of gunshots echoed through the air. Pete and his fellow henchmen were busy spraying bullets on Marcelo and I, as we hid behind a random counter in the kitchen area.To say Jennie's diner was a wreck would be an understatement, as tables, chairs and even walls now had bullet holes in them. Broken glasses and utensils were all over the place, even as I discreetly tried to crawl to safety.Marcelo pulled me back to himself, pressing me up against the counter, and making me look into his eyes. I tried my best to focus on him, despite the fact that I was finding it difficult to make out his words.Suddenly, Marcelo's grip on my both arms tightened, and he shook me violently. I guess he was trying to shake me out of my panicked state."Emilia, look at me!" He breathed harshly, and I could feel his nails digging into my skin. The gunshots still continued, and it was a surprise that neither of us have been hit yet."I'm going to need you to d

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Marcelo Del Ponte

Emilia~"I want out!" The words escaped my lips, as I stood before my husband. He looked up at me from his desk, and a sudden silence hung thickly in the air. I held my breath in anticipation of his response."What did you just say?" He finally asked, after what felt like a whole hour of uncomfortable silence. My lips trembled, as I watched him stand up from his seat. His jaw clenched, and his bloodshot eyes seemed to be daring me to repeat myself.Whatever debt my late parents owed, I believed I had already paid with my years of marriage to him. I couldn't continue with it anymore."I'm...done. I want out!" I said again, a little louder and firmer. This time, I slid some divorce papers onto his desk.Bronx suddenly burst out into a fit of hysterical laughter. I watched his whole body vibrate, as he tilted his head backwards to howl even louder, like this was the funniest thing he ever heard."You want out?" He asked, flashing me a yellow-toothed grin.I begun to slowly back away, a

Emilia~Gone was the dorky, playful, teenager I used to know. In his place was a brooding male, who exuded so much power and dominance. The last time I saw Marcelo was at his mother's funeral, here in Los Angeles. I heard he moved to Sicily, just the following week, and I never saw or heard from him ever since. Our parents used to be very close, and that was how we got to know each other in the first place. We were practically best friends, as we grew up together and even attended the same high school."How was your trip, Mr. Del Ponte?" My husband asked, breaking the long, awkward silence at the dinner table.I hadn't noticed how much I was staring, until Marcelo's eyes suddenly met mine, forcing me to look away. It was obvious he also recognized me, but chose to say nothing about it.He turned his gaze to my husband, who was sitting right beside me. The tension in the room seemed to get even thicker by the second."It was splendid. Right, boss?" One of the men who accompanied Marce

[A/N: Just a little reminder that this book is rated 18+, as there will be sexually explicit scenes that some readers may find disturbing. ]Marcelo~The constant pitter patter of rain drops against my window sill, was the only sound keeping me company, as I sat alone with my thoughts. Thoughts that revolved around a particularly interesting female.Emilia Anderson! She grew up to be a fucking goddess, one I'd love to worship on my bed. Those baby blue eyes and the sadness they seemed to hide, I couldn't get them out of my head. Not that I even wanted to, I've always had a thing for her.Taking a puff of my tobacco joint, I thought back to how stunning she looked in that red, evening dress. I bet she looks even better without it.The full swell of her plush lips, and her ripe, bodily curves that were out on full display. The things I would do to that body...How she ended up with such an asshole for a husband, was a total mystery to me. Why Bronx, of all people? It made no damn sense!

Emilia~"This might sting a little." Marcelo warned, as he held out an ointment to apply to my cut.His eyes held a lot of focus, as he inspected my injuries closely. It was almost laughable."It's okay. I'm used to it." I said, encouraging him to go on.I watched his jaw clench at my words. He was trying really hard to contain his anger, and I knew it. I saw it in his eyes.He looked like he wanted to say something at first, but decided against it."I promise, he isn't always like this." I blurted out, trying to break the uncomfortable silence. It was a lie though. Bronx had gone physical with me on more occasions than I could count. He just always has his ways of making me feel like it was all my fault.I knew he was probably combing through the city right now, in search of me. The thought of going back to my so-called husband, scared me a lot.Marcelo remained silent, as he worked on my wounds. He no longer had the angered expression on his face, making me wonder what was going on

Emilia~"You weren't supposed to see this!" His words rang in my ears, as I stared at the unmoving body of the man who used to be my husband.Marcelo murdered the only man who knew the whereabouts of my long lost sister. He took a man's life, and I bet he enjoyed doing it.Was this why he had his little gang of tattooed men around? Are they also in on this? Of course they were, they literally call him "Boss".I noticed that Bronx's lifeless body was tied to a chair. The scars and bruises all over him, were evidence that he was severely beaten and tortured, before a bullet was probably put in his head.Deciding I had seen enough, I turned around to put as much distance as I could, between myself and Marcelo. "Stay away from me, you fucking psycho!" I screamed, as I noticed him hot in my pursuit. Was he about to kill me too? Was I about to face the same fate as my husband? Tears streamed down my face, as I willed myself to run faster. I literally walked myself right into this one. I

Marcelo~She had seen my darkest side, a part of me I initially intended to keep from her. That was the perfect excuse for me to make her my prisoner. She belonged to me now."You look... stunning!" I said to her, as she stood in front of the mirror in a black, high-slit gown. Her brown hair was arranged in one messy bun, allowing unruly tendrils to cascade down her face. Her blue eyes met mine in the mirror, but she remained silent.Tonight we were attending a masquerade ball together, and I thought of it as the perfect opportunity to show her off as mine.I let my eyes roam the curves of her perfect, hourglass figure that was highly accentuated by her dress. One of my maids, Martha was still busy applying touches of makeup to her face, as she stood there."Leave us!" I said to Martha, who looked like she was about to protest, but thought better of it. Good for her!I waited till the latter was out of the room, before turning my full attention back on Emilia. She made to walk past m

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Escape plan

Emilia~I panted, running as fast as my legs could take me in such a tight dress. If Marcelo catches up to us, there was no telling what he would do. I wasn't about to find out either."Come on, faster!" Martha whisper-yelled, urging me to match her pace.I've known her to be one of Marcelo's maids, as she was specially assigned to "take care of me". It made me skeptical as to why she was suddenly trying to help me escape.I slowly came to halt, doubling over and trying to catch my breath in a part of the mansion that looked like an abandoned garden. My lungs seemed like they were on fire, as I literally gasped for air."We don't have time for this, Miss Anderson!" Martha said, a hint of annoyance in her voice.I raised up my head to glare at her. What the hell was her deal?"Maybe you should have mentioned a lot of running in your grand escape plan!" I snapped at her."Why are you even helping me? You could get in so much trouble if we're caught."She frowned at my words, hesitating

Emilia~"Marcelo!" I breathed out shakily, as my body felt like it was on the verge of a breakdown.I had been over the edge for a total of two times already, and Marcelo didn't seem like he was about to stop anytime soon.At this point, my legs felt like they couldn't hold up my weight any longer. With every thrust, they wobbled."Oh, fuck!" I moaned, feeling yet another orgasm."Hold it back." Marcelo grunted, not stopping his for once."Don't you dare cum, until I ask you too." I bit my lips, not really sure about how I was supposed to hold back an orgasm. His cock suddenly slid out of my pussy, making my entire body tremble with ecstasy. A part of me couldn't take anymore of the pleasure, while another part still craved more. Marcelo however, didn't care about the inner conflict I was having with myself, as he slid his way into me again.A humorless laughter escaped my lips, followed by me crying and bawling my eyes out. I still didn't want him to stop, and he didn't."Shit...I

[A/N: Very mature scenes will be coming right up. I don't feel like I should still be warning anybody about this. If you know you are not up to the age of 18, or you can't handle sexually explicit scenes, this book is so not for you.]Emilia~"You need to leave!" I blurted out, suddenly putting some distance between myself and Marcelo.I now realized what he was doing, and I was instantly snapped out of whatever spell he put on me. He was wielding my need as one big weapon. He obviously plans to try and trap me with it, make me forget everything about the freedom I crave so badly. I wasn't going to have it."My sister may be back anytime from now, and she won't be too happy to see you here." Marcelo let out scoff, before coming closer to me again. Every single time he comes this close to me, I find it hard to think properly. It was almost as if he already knew that."What about you, Em?" He whispered huskily, and I felt my nipples harden at the sound."Aren't you happy to see me?"

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Persuasion

Marcelo~How long had it been since she disappeared? A month? Maybe even more. Here she was now, completely naked and vulnerable before me. She was shaking like a leaf, and it made me a little cocky to know that I still had that effect on her.I had already decided it was time to discard her a long time ago, but after everything I heard from my father, there was definitely going to be a change of plans. She doesn't get to run off so easily."I asked you a question!" She snapped, and I had urge to laugh at the pathetic attempt she made at hiding her nakedness from me.She was looking like she added a few pounds, as she appeared to be a lot more thicker in all the right places. Damn! I could look at that all fucking day."I think we both know the answer to that, love!" I smiled down at her, subconsciously taking a step closer.I had a reason for coming here, and it seemed like I was slowly getting carried away. I shouldn't be here, looking at her so shamelessly and lustfully but somehow

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Dirty thoughts

Emilia~You know what? Maybe I'm gradually loosing it, because it's been over two hours since I had been standing guard behind the door, and I was yet to hear a single sound. I had to come to terms with the fact that I may just be seeing things, and nobody was actually jobless enough to be following me around town in freaking sedan. I let out a yawn, as a result of the exhaustion I had just put my body through. Perhaps, having a thorough bath and a nap wouldn't be too bad.I stood up from where I had been sitting in front of the door, stretching my body a little, before heading towards the direction of my room. I had already started to strip off my clothes, even before I got into the shower. That was how badly I needed it.Finally stepping into the bathroom, I turned on the faucet in preparation for my long anticipated bath. A moan escaped my lips, as the cold water ran all the way from my hair, down to my tensed up body.I made sure to massage my scalp with some shampoo, before go

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Paranoia

Emilia~I had recently come to a realization that grocery shopping, or any other kind of shopping for that matter, can be regarded as a form of torture. I'd rather be anywhere else, than in the middle of a giant-ass store, with a shopping cart in my hand. I hated the stress that came with going down one aisle after another, in search of specific products.Don't even get me started with the people I come across in places like this. I swear, they totally give me the creeps. It felt like I was in an entirely different part of this town, because everybody was weird around here.It would be too early for me to start attributing things like this to my pregnancy hormones, so I guess this one was all on me. I had this urge to make haste and get as far away from this place as possible."Ugh, thank God!" I sighed out in relief, as I was finally able to spot a product I had been looking for the whole time.I quickly added it to my cart, before proceeding to go through my list for the remaining

"She's carrying a child, Marcelo." I froze, in total disbelief of what I just heard."So, you can go ahead and kill me." My father smirked."Once my people don't hear from me in the next few hours, they'll be sending her dead body to you." He threatened.I hesitantly let go of my father, signifying to my men to lower their weapons too.He was clearly several steps ahead of me, and had the upper hand in this situation."That's right, son! Show some respect." He taunted, as he casually straightened out a few creases on his shirt. Oh, he had no idea how much 'respect' I wanted to show him."You still haven't told me what you're really here for." I said in a hostile tone.My father looked up at me, before casually pinching my cheek like he always did when I was younger."Ey, don't be like that, son!" He said in a low, husky voice. I resisted the urge to shudder at his attempt to make us look like we shared some kind of bond."I just got out of jail. Don't tell me I'm not allowed to com

Marcelo~I threw the bottle of whiskey at the wall in front of me, watching it shatter into tiny pieces. My office was a total wreck, as I had spent the last thirty minutes, taking out my anger on any object I could get hold of."Dammit!" I roared, knocking some more bottles of whiskey to the ground.Martinez stood at the doorway, totally unfazed by my tantrum. He was actually the only one who can stand being around me in this state. He wasn't bluffing about my father no longer being behind bars. I had clearly underestimated my father's ability once again, and it infuriated me to no end.He was able to pull some strings to get himself out of prison and now, he was in hiding."I should have fucking killed him!" I yelled out in frustration and anger.Martinez's cellphone suddenly rang out, and I turned to glare at him as he calmly answered the phone. I watched his expression change from total calmness to agitation in just a matter of seconds, and my interest was instantly piqued."What
