Emilia~

"Why did you do it?" I asked Marcelo, as I barged into his study.

He seemed to be in the middle of a meeting with about three of his men, and they all looked up at me.

I didn't care what I had just interrupted, I just wanted answers from him.

"Why did you fucking do it?" I repeated through gritted teeth.

I had always seen myself as someone who had a pretty good control over her temper. I hardly ever lost it, but Marcelo seemed to be getting on my every nerves with his actions. I couldn't just sit by and take it anymore.

He exchanged a look with each of the men, and they all stood up to leave, one after the other.

Marcelo waited till it was just the both of us, before he plopped himself down on a spinning chair.

From the large window behind him, I could see what was left of the DellCorp building in the distance. Marcelo had the audacity to smirk at the horrified look on my face.

"Well, good morning to you too!" He said, making me clench my fist in rage.

I wanted to punch th

Emilia~I closed my eyes, relishing the feeling of cold water on my skin. It felt like I was finally taking a break from all that was going on in my life, and I loved it.It's been two days since I last saw both Marcelo and Mae. Everything felt too peaceful and quiet, giving the feeling of the calm before a storm. My mind reeled back to the morning of the confrontation between myself and Mae."I know what you did to Martha." I remember how scared I was, thinking she was definitely going to be after revenge or something.Things however, took a much different turn than what I had expected. Mae wasn't even slightly upset about it. If anything, it looked like she had made peace with it."She betrayed our Boss, sounds to me like she got what she deserves." She had simply said in a monotone.Mae also broke the news of her moving to Texas, as suggested by Marcelo. She said something about starting her life afresh, to which I just nodded in understanding. I was still wary of her, and a part

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Ask nicely

Emilia~Torture! That was the word that described what Marcelo was doing to me.I have been cooped up in this goddamn room all day, trying to pleasure myself just like I did earlier. However, the experience wasn't the same without him.He gave me a taste of it, only to leave me craving for more. How the hell was that fair?I lifted up my gown to try fingering myself once again. I had nothing else to do today, so I might as well keep trying.I rubbed my hands all over my swollen clit, biting my lower lip in anticipation of that pleasurable feeling. After going at it for long enough, I had to come to terms with the fact that my efforts were pointless. This wasn't going to work without Marcelo.I rolled out of bed, with my mind set on doing the one thing he asked me not to do; go out of my room. This one was going to be on him, for starving me and locking me up like a damn prisoner. He said something about having a meeting with some other Dons, but I really didn't give a damn about it r

  • HER ONLY CRIME   A night out

Marcelo~Maybe Emilia was right about one thing afterall; I couldn't stand being bested by anybody, talk more of a scrawny, old fellow like O'Dell.I grinned at the latter, who was tied to a chair, powerless right before me. I watched gleefully, as he panicked, struggling to set himself free. He had a bag over his head, which muffled his screams and cuss words. All these happened, without me even having to lift a finger. Now that is the real definition of power.I snapped my fingers, and my men immediately removed the bag from over his head. He winced, trying to adjust his eyes to the brightness of the room. The rays of sun entering through the small window, definitely was helping him."Buongiorno, signor!" I grinned, as he finally looked up at me.His expression slowly changed into a hateful glare, which only made my grin wider. I definitely enjoyed taunting him."You!" He sneered, earning a shrug from me."I know this wasn't really how we talked about it." I said, rolling my eyes

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Drunk gibberish

Marcelo~"Find her!" I barked out orders to my men.The revving sound of motorcycle and car engines, echoed through the air, as they all drove off to do as I ordered."Search every corner of this goddamn island, if you have to!" I yelled."And as for you!" I said, pointing towards a trembling Preston. He couldn't bring himself to look me in the eyes, because he knew he messed up big time. "You'll take us to the place where she got missing." I said, making him nod his head frantically."Better pray we find her tonight, or you'll be sorry for taking your eyes off her." I told him right to his face, before brushing past him."Get in the fucking car!" I yelled out to him, as I and Martinez were walking towards the said car.Soon enough, we were on the road, keeping our eyes peeled for any sign of Emilia. That woman really has no idea of the kind of dangers that lurk around. The mere fact that she was with me, was enough to make her a walking target to people who want me dead. Why the f

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Drunk Emilia

Marcelo~"Are you mad at me?" She asked me for the umpteenth time."No." I answered her, taking off my shirt that had been ruined with her vomit stains.Drunk Emilia was definitely something, as I haven't really been exposed to this side of her before. As I tossed the shirt into the hamper, Emilia stumbled towards me, her eyes glassy and unfocused. I caught her by the elbows, steadying her as she swayed precariously."You'll hurt yourself." I said, my voice low and even. "You should rest now."Emilia looked up at me, her face scrunched up in a mixture of concern and contrition. "I'm sorry, Marc," she slurred, her words barely intelligible. "I know you're still mad at me."I sighed, feeling a pang of amusement despite myself. A part of me wanted to yell at her and scold her for leaving the house, despite my warning. I wanted to punish her for disobeying me, but for some reason, I couldn't bring myself to do it."It's okay, Emilia," I said, trying to reassure her. "How about we tal

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Hungover

Emilia~"Fuck me!" I cussed under my breath.I slowly opened my eyes, wincing as a wave of pain washed over me. My head was pounding, my mouth was dry, and my stomach was churning with a mix of nausea and regret.I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my head, making me fall back onto the bed. I groaned, covering my face with my hands, as the harsh sun rays filtered into my eyes. What the hell was happening to me, a hangover? As I lay there, bit and pieces of my memories began to come together. I remembered Preston driving me around, stopping to buy gas, and...Oh no!I remembered Marcelo. I remembered him finding me at the club, throwing me over his shoulder, and... and...I felt a wave of embarrassment wash over me, and I clamped my hands over my mouth. What had I done? What had I said?I slowly sat up again, this time more carefully. I looked around the room, taking in the familiar surroundings. I was in my bedroom, in Marcelo's mansion.I threw off the covers and got ou

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Funeral

Emilia's POVI stood in front of the large mirror, in nothing but my undergarments. The blue in my eyes seemed to have lost their brightness, as I stared blankly at my reflection. Was O'Dell really dead, or was Marcelo just playing one of his sick games with me? It was unlike Marcelo to lie about things like this, so the former was likely to be the case here. The door suddenly opened, revealing some maids who walked in with expensive dresses and make-up to adorn me, courtesy of Marcelo. I stood still as they clothed me and dolled me up like I was some mourning bride. Everything about today felt very wrong to me, and only one person seemed like the right person to be blamed; Marcelo!Speaking of the devil, he slowly emerged from behind me in an all-black suit that seemed to match my dress. He looked really proud of himself, as he gazed into the mirror."Did you do it?" I suddenly blurted out the question that had been on mind, and Marcelo didn't even appear slightly shockedHe busied

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Scars

Emilia~ "I did what?" Our laughter echoed through the room, as Martinez narrated what really happened on the night I got drunk. This was actually the first time I was seeing Martinez laugh, or even crack a single joke. I got to know he was a really goofy person, beneath all the hard exterior. "I have never seen anyone that wasted before." He said, making me hit his shoulder with a light, playful punch. "Oh Martini, you're so much hotter than Marc!" He said, making silly faces to describe how I talk. "That's not how I sound." I whined, before pouting like a child. We both burst out into laughter again, as he kept making silly faces at me. My stomach hurt from laughing so much, and I was glad to have someone who could actually crack me up. To be honest, I never thought I'd ever be able to laugh this much, given the kind of life I live. It's been over two weeks since Mr. O'Dell's funeral, and it felt good to finally be able to forget the events of that day. I was ab

Emilia~"I know you want to try it on." Marcelo whispered from behind me, as I stared at a dress that I found to be really provocative.I wondered who in their right minds would want to wear something like that."What? Me? No way!" I blurted out, as I was being pulled from my train of thoughts. My face was already turning red in embarrassment, and Marcelo wasn't helping with how he stared at me."It will look perfect on you." He persisted, coming closer to me.I could feel his hot breath on my neck, as he brushed up against me from behind.Dirty glances were cast our way, by a few people who also seemed to be shopping. However, the staff were busy directing them away from us."I'll look like a slut in it." I argued, frowning at a mental image of myself in the said dress.I was snapped back to the present, at the feeling of Marcelo's hardness poking my butt. I was suddenly starting to feel so much heat, despite the fact that the entire place was well ventilated."Mmm... imagine how ea

  • HER ONLY CRIME   From the inside

Emilia~It's been over twenty minutes since Martinez left me by myself in this car. I was growing increasingly impatient and upset, not knowing if I should keep waiting, or go drag him out myself.Something tells me he's doing this because of Marcelo. He probably doesn't want to risk getting on Marcelo's bad side again, so he's intentionally avoiding me.He was supposed to drive me to the clothe store, as I really wanted to get something for Chloe. It's been two days now, and I haven't given her anything decent to wear.Deciding I'd wasted enough time waiting for Martinez, I made up my mind to go into the house and fish him out. However, just as the thought occurred to me, the driver's door suddenly clicked open. Instead of Martinez, a smiling Marcelo ushered himself into the vehicle, much to my surprise.I frowned at him, wanting an explanation for what was going on."Martinez won't be able to make it." He stated. The smug look on his face really pissed me off, and I tried to imagine

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Responsibility

Emilia~"You kidnapped her?!" I shrieked in disbelief, at a smug looking Marcelo."What? Martinez is allowed to help, and I'm not?" He asked, before casually walking into the room."Doesn't seem fair." I glared at him, as my sister kept struggling on the chair and letting out muffled screams. I was willing to bet that she was swearing alot."Damn...she's a lot feistier than I remember." Marcelo remarked, as he bent down beside my Chloe, to look her in the eyes. The latter made several attempt to break free from her restraints, and probably jump on him. She was like a very angry, rabid dog."What if the police hears of this, or worse..." I questioned, feeling my anxiety get the better of me."...her people decides to come looking for her?" Marcelo let out a scoff, like I had just said the most ridiculous thing. He stood back up, to his full height, before walking towards me."You have very little faith in me, Em!" He whispered, just within a few inches from my ear."Nobody is coming

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Just a touch

Emilia~Deciding that I had spent enough time in the bathtub, I carefully crept out, dropping water onto the bathroom floor.I reached for a nearby towel, which I used to dry my hair thoroughly. The blow-dryer would have been a better option, but I've always had a phobia of that device.I hummed softly to myself, as I casually wrapped another towel around my lower body, before deciding to exit the bathroom.I stepped into my main bedroom, and I was instantly startled by the sight of a very shirtless Marcelo, sitting on the bed, with a copy of my magazines in his hand.He raised up his head to grin at me, and my stomach instantly did a somersault. What does he want now?Feeling self-conscious of the fact that I was in nothing but a towel, I shifted my weight from one feet to the other, not really knowing how to react."I brought a peace offering." He announced, holding up a white plastic bag.Really? Ice-cream? I arched an eyebrow, as he unveiled the contents of the plastic bag. He wa

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Just a whore

Marcelo~"Get out of the way, Em!" I growled.Emilia stood protectively in front of Martinez, stopping me from putting a bullet in his brain.I don't like to be disobeyed, and even my own consigliere was not an exception. He knew the rules, but still went ahead to break them. I'm pretty sure he was prepared for the consequences that are bound to follow."You'll have to kill me first." Emilia spat defiantly, stepping closer to me.I'd admit that I was a little taken aback by her sudden boldness, as I had never seen her step up to me...at least, not in this manner. It made me a little jealous of the fact that she was willing to put her life on the line for another man; another man that wasn't me.The tension in the room thickened, and nobody dared to utter a word, or even so much as breathe the wrong way. A number of my men were gathered, all watching and waiting to see how I'd handle this case of clear disregard on my authority. Even Isabella was watching with keen interest.Taking in

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Long way from home

Emilia~"Sorry!" I muttered, as I hurriedly brushed past a number of people.I simultaneously kept my eyes on Chloe, as she kept moving even faster. Her blonde hair kept blowing in the wind, making her a little easier to spot.Every once in a while, she'd look back and see me closing in on her. She would then resort to hurling any object she can find around, right at me. She had gotten quite crafty, I'd give her that."Can you just..." I groaned out in frustration, as I jumped over a trash can that she hurled at me.At this point, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to find my way back to Martinez. I had been running a really long way from the bar."...stop for a moment?!" I screamed at the top of my already burning lungs, as I watched Chloe run into where seemed to be an old, abandoned building.I followed her without thinking twice, and I found out that it had another door leading to the backyard. Immediately I stepped through the said door, I was hit on the head by something tha

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Chloe/Jada

Emilia~I didn't know there were suburbs in Sicily, until this very moment. My eyes were widened in awe of the scenery around us.Martinez had suggested that we avoid using any of the expensive cars, so as not to attract attention from the wrong people. Apparently, this place didn't exactly have the reputation for housing the nicest residents.I followed closely behind Martinez, who kept taking long, confident strides, like he owned this neighborhood. Stench of cigarettes and decaying refuse filled the air, and I scrunched up my nose in disgust.Martinez had a black, knee-length coat on, his hands buried deep in his pockets. I on the other hand, had an oversized hoodie, which I used to cover most of my face. Remembering what happened that night, at Alberto's auction, it made sense why I had to cover my face. Somehow, being associated with Marcelo had made me more popular than I'd normally like. They all knew me to be Marcelo's property."Relax your shoulders. You look tense." Martine

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Not a maid

Emilia~Despite the fact that I was famished, I found myself picking at the food in front of me. I was slowly loosing my appetite, as I watched "Isabella" flirt shamelessly with Marcelo. Not able to take it anymore, I decided to call their attention by clearing my throat really loudly. They both turned their heads to look at me almost immediately."If you both don't mind, I'm trying to have breakfast here." I said, plastering a saccharine grin on my face."...and you're ruining it for me, with those disgusting remarks." Now I was staring right at a grinning Isabella, who seemed to be amused by my sudden outburst. Marcelo on the other hand, wore his usual emotionless mask."Oh I'm sorry... didn't see you there." Isabella suddenly spoke up, smiling through her fake apology."I think it's quite nice, that Marcelo allows his maid to eat at the same table." I frowned at her words, knowing exactly what she was trying to imply. "I am NOT his maid!" I declared firmly, slamming my hands on

  • HER ONLY CRIME   Jealous

Emilia~"Mom!" A younger version of myself, called out to my mother."What is it, Emil?" She answered from the kitchen, annoyance evident in her voice.Of course I didn't read any meaning into my mother's harsh intonation. I was just too excited, as today happened to be a very important day in my life. It was my graduation from highschool."Today is my graduation, remember?" I asked, running up to my mother, who was still busy cooking up a storm. My stomach instantly growled at the sight of the freshly made pancakes and eggs. Mother was always such a good cook."Oh!" Was my mother's only response to what I just told her, and my expression immediately morphed into a frown. She didn't remember?"You and Dad are coming, right?" I asked, still trying to hold on to whatever hope I had in me.I watched my mother carry on with what she was doing, not in any hurry to answer my question. She had always seen me as some... disturbance."You know your father is tied down with work." She finally
