I woke up before the break of dawn. In fact, the anticipation was too much for me to even sleep through the night. I kept waking up at odd hours wondering if it was morning yet. Thank the goddess I was able to somehow escape sleeping in the Alpha’s room yesterday or any room he had prepared for me. The amount of guards at the door would have made it impossible to escape.

I didn’t bother to shower for fear of waking anybody up and just slipped on the uniform I had managed to acquire as quick as possible. It wasn’t even my former uniform; that would just make it easier for me to be recognized if I ended up getting caught. I wore the lower level maid uniform instead, who would have thought I would be able to wear the same clothes as Hannah.
