Back in the Spencer residence, Marilynn was on her computer in her office, still reminiscing on the good old times when she traveled the world, hiking in China or boating it Italy, sightseeing in Spain, and food tasting in India, Marilynn did it all and loved every second of it.
Looking out the window, she sighed at the weather, thinking about how she went from being such a free spirit roaming the world to a simple housewife. Snapping her out of her thoughts was a gray sedan that parked in front of her house, whose car was that?
A tall brunette exited the car and began walking to the front door and Marilynn recognized her as Bradley’s mother. She had only met the woman once but she remembered thinking she was nothing like she expected, and Marily
I was trying to get into the right headspace before Damien came by for my daily training when my mom knocked on my door and asked about a car accident. Damien must have come up with that excuse after killing Bradley and his friends, I figured. It got me wondering just exactly how he gets rid of evidence? Would he ever make me help with cleaning up something? No, Damien wouldn’t do that, he said that if I ever said no to him that he would listen.I looked at the clock and saw that it was five in the evening, fairly late for us to do any training. On the other hand, teens have to practice driving at night before they can get their driver’s license, maybe I could see if I had any sort of light ability as well?I leaned against the wall as I sat on my bed and waited with my headphones for a while until someone surprised me by taking them off. I jumped and opened my eyes, expecting to find Damien’s blue eyes and flawless skin in
I always waited until I was home to do any teleporting to avoid suspicion, and it was fairly late at night by the time that I got back from work to visit Abby after my surprise visit from Bradley’s mother Danielle. I know for a fact that that woman was going to talk to others as soon as she left my office, and I figured that she would either go to Abby’s house to check on her or to any of the other three men’s houses who were in the supposed car accident that I made up.I got cleaned up and was just about ready to head over to Abby’s when there was a knock on my front door. As I approached, I noticed that it had begun to hail again, which seemed to happen when Abby was upset and sobbing uncontrollably.I opened the door quickly to find Abby and her mom, Marilynn, with a death grip on her daughter’s arm, standing out in the hail. Abby was drenched in water and sobbing, but Marilynn had no reaction to the weather
Damien was taking such good care of me and he was being so gentle and kind, it was everything that I needed at the moment. Damien found me a shirt to wear for bed and some sweatpants, I had to pull the drawstring for them to fit me snug.I still couldn’t believe that my mom kicked me out, and then she literally shoved me into Damien’s arms. You hear about kids who are estranged from their parents and think it’s too bad but other than that you don’t think too much about it – like why they are estranged and how everything between them went down.My story goes something like this: Girl falls in love with a demon and becomes a demon to be with him, only to find out that her mother is secretly a healing angel who was grooming her to be a similar angel to put mankind on the right path for eternal wellness. When angel-mother finds out about her angel-blooded demon-daughter, she disowns her and throws her into the hands
After I knew that Abby was asleep, I focused on her mother to try to tap into her subconscious and visit her in her dreams, I needed to speak with the woman and as soon as possible.I watched the Spencer family for years and never would I have expected something like this to happen between Abby and her mother. I knew that her father was shit but her mother didn’t seem like the kind of person to turn on someone so easily. The darkness of my eyelids began to change and suddenly I was in a field much like the Garden, only the tree out front of Abby’s house was there in front of me and Marilynn was swinging on the swing that was tied to it, facing away from me, and overlooking a small cliff.I approached her quietly and she spoke as I neared her, “She’s a good kid.”I stopped walking once I became a short distance from her, “I know she is,” I responded.&n
Damien told me once how to enter someone’s dreams, it was the day that I was pestering him with questions after he proved he was a demon by entering my own dreams and showing what he had done to Bradley and his friends. He said to focus on the person whose dreams you’re trying to enter and imagine that you were in their head.I laid in Damien’s arms and thought of my mother, I imagined her tear-stained face laying down and the cold drops of her tears on her pillow cooling her hot face and helping her drift off into sleep. The blackness of my eyelids turned into an empty field but I could see a tree some distance away from me on a hilltop.I walked towards the tree as I recognized it as the one in our front yard with the swing – I must have successfully gotten into my mom’s dreams! I saw her there on the top of a hill in a white dress, but the more that I walked towards her, the further she seemed to be.&
Damien told me that we had to wait until Samhain6, or Halloween, to teleport us to Hell, because that’s supposedly when the veil between the living world and the dead is its thinnest, and it would be the easiest day for me to attempt teleporting between realms since it’s my first time.We have been practicing my skills with teleporting lately, he said that by the time that I can make myself end up in Baghdad is when I will be ready to try traveling between realms. Baghdad is on the opposite side of the world from us, so we decided that it was the furthest I could teleport here on Earth.I was excited, and I didn’t exactly know why. Maybe it was because I knew that I could go back and forth? Then again, I didn’t have much of a reason to come back to the human realm anymore. So far, I’ve made it to Alaska, Siberia, and now India. I am slowly moving West bit-by-bit and having a ball
It took Abby quite some time to finally master her teleporting between here and there, but she successfully teleported to Hell, and I was immensely proud of her, and evidently, on her face, she was proud of herself as well.I didn’t tell her exactly what to think of to get here, I trusted that she was smart enough to figure it out on her own, and I was right - she did amazing, and I praised her for it.She brought us to one of her ex’s friends' torture room, one that I showed her the first time I attempted to prove to her that I was a demon by getting into her dreams. I was relieved that she hadn’t brought us to Bradley’s place of torture, although it would have been fun to see his reaction to the both of us suddenly showing up there together.I kept a hold on one of Abby’s hands and we walked away from the room that the man named Ryan was in and took a stroll through Hell towards my home.
*Mature Content*Eager to show her more of my place, I grabbed onto Abby’s waist and encouraged her towards our bedroom. Abby’s taste in furnishings and my own were fairly similar, so I didn’t have to make any crazy changes around the house. I had to get rid of the skulls I had lying around, but other than that, there wasn’t much to change, and I was thankful for it.My house was always neutral colors like white and tan, I find them to be calming after a long day of torturing a soul, and Abby seemed thrilled to see how modernly I lived, she also seemed rather surprised. She was so cute, charging up the stairs when I mentioned to her the bedroom, I didn’t want to waste any time either with getting her into bed or against a wall, whatever the moment inspired.I walked with Abby with the tips of my toes on her heels and we meandered our way to the do
FACT VS FICTION INDEXThis is more a Myth VS Fiction index for those who don't believe in Greek Mythology - none of this, as far as I'm aware, is known to be a sure fact - these are simply what my research told me and what I used to build the story.FACT: Pluto, Plouton, Hades, and Lucifer are all different names used for the ruler of the underworld.FACT: Zeus is said to have dozens of offspring with both Goddesses and mortal consorts.FICTION: There is no family tree that ties anyone to Zeus.FICTION: There was no feud between brothers where Zeus tried to kill Hades.FACT: Zeus is God of the sky, lightning, justice, thunder, and law and order (wiki)Samhain is a Celtic word referring to the end of the harvest season. It is considered the Pagan new year when the veil between the living and dead is at its thinnest.FACT: Persephone, AKA Kora, was the daughter
My name is Abigail Lynn Hale, I was eighteen when I fell in love with a demon and followed him to the realm of the dead to live happily ever after with him. While there, I met a Goddess who wanted the same thing as myself - equality for all the souls.Together, we devised a plan to destroy the system of Heaven and Hell and create a single realm for every soul to inhabit and receive the afterlife that they deserve based on the seven deadly sins, and with strategy and will, we successfully created this new realm, we named it Mercy. My parents both reside in Mercy now, along with every other soul to exist and die. My parents and I patched up our differences and I forgave them both for their sins.Kora was given a rebirth, and as much as it saddened me to lose a friend, she was finally free from Lucifer’s hold. Whether it was genuine love she felt for him or mind manipulation, she would never have
Brightness. It was all that I saw towards the end.Zeus and Lucifer were about to attack each other for the last time, the final strike, the last clash, the moment that would destroy the portals between Heaven and Hell and leave all the souls in one single realm. The second that they began to move towards each other, I let my consciousness return back to my body and my eyes shot wide open. Brightness. It felt like it lasted forever, but it slowly vanished to reveal a blue sky above, not a single cloud in sight. It was silent now, the war was over.I was laying down, something I don’t remember doing. The last thing I remember was seeing Kora running to me and telling her that it was time.I turned my head to see green grass underneath me. My hair was blonde again, something it hasn’t been for months.Looking further out, I saw that the green grass didn’t last mor
Abby was somehow inside the consciousnesses of both Zeus and Lucifer, practically fighting herself in a sense, and I was supposed to just stand there and watch?Fighting off people as they came near to protect her, I could do that, but the angels and demons seemed to be equal in number, fighting one-on-one, very few coming towards us as they defeated their opponent.Everyone knew this battle was ultimately Zeus versus Lucifer, so no one dared to approach the area that the brothers were fighting.Kora was focused on Abby, I don’t know if she was giving her the mindreading ability so that Abby could block the next attack between brother accordingly or what, but whatever it was that she was doing, she was helping Abby, so I would protect her too.I questioned Kora for a while in the underworld, knowing that she was there against her will, for the most part. I wondered if she preferred the heavens
Everything happened so quickly; one moment I was standing there with Hermes making casual conversation, the next thing I know, all the souls of Heaven and Hell appear in the Garden and the battle begins. They went from zero to a hundred incredibly fast.Lucifer was right, there was absolutely no warning about this battle about to commence, nothing like the mock battles we had – these souls appeared out of nowhere and they kept coming, leaving nothing but the sight of fighting figures all along the flat plane of the Garden.Hermes disappeared quickly somewhere since he didn’t technically have a side to fight on, he just stayed away from it. I grabbed the bow and arrows from the pile of weapons that Kora and I brought with us as quickly as I could and checked my surroundings to try to find her.Where was she? She was supposed to take the device to Lucifer and have him destroy it then be right back. If the fight
I was able to get both Kora and me to the Garden because the portal was opened by Hermes, and when we arrived, we saw that the battle had already begun. The weather was as if Abby was feeling every emotion – The clouds were gray and thunderous, a mixture of hail and rain being blown in every direction. It was humid and hot, with bursts of sunlight threatening to poke through the clouds here and there.Hundreds of angels fought hundreds of demons all along the planes of the Garden as far as the eye could see. The demons all brought weapons of their own, as well as the angels, along with each one's natural powers.Fireballs were shot from one side to the other, arrows were flung in all directions, in some places, there was hand-to-hand combat taking place, making it hard to tell which soul was the demon and which was the angel.I saw Hex in his wendigo form, skeletal with patches of fur and the s
When I dreamt, Kora would visit me, and we have been strategizing how to create a new realm and destroy Heaven and Hell altogether. We planned things in my dreams, and when morning came, we tested whatever we came up with, and we had finally gotten to a point where we knew what to do.No one besides Kora had seen what I can do by means of possession. It happened once when we were sparring - I had gotten frustrated with going between my demon form and my angel form, trying to master the quick transitions, and Kora attempted an attack which I blocked by getting into her head.At the same time, my body blocked her attack. It’s when I noticed that my subconscious had divided itself between my own mind and Kora’s, I was controlling both of us.It might be too much to take at any moment, really, which is why we had to save it for this battle. Kora and I agreed to save that ability until the right moment, and we wou

I found him walking the same way as I was in the hallway outside of Kora’s greenroom, he probably just bid her farewell as she left to train Abby some more.He heard my footsteps and turned to me, “If you won’t help me hide her, then at least help me give her more time,” I was begging now and I didn’t even care, I just wanted to save Abby.I was going to ask Lucifer for more mock battles, each time with more and more people. We had no idea just how many souls would be fighting for her on the other side and needed to be prepared for anything. It could be a hundred or it could be a hundred thousand, there are countless souls in the heavens, who knows how many
How much do I tell him? He’s just standing there and staring at me, I can’t stay pacing like this for too long, I need to say something! The weather is changing based on my mood, too, and I don’t want him to see what happens when I get frustrated here. Not yet. ‘Come on, Abby, you can come up with words!’“I was hidden from a lot of things in my life growing up, and now I have a chance to be a part of something huge, and you want to take it from me…” Ouch, that may have been a bit too harsh, I need to come up with something else, “You once said that you would never make me do something that I didn’t want to do… well, I don’t want to hide.”Damien pinched his lips together but when he finally spoke, his words came out softly. “I’m just trying to look out for you.”“Thank you,” I offered in a gentle tone, “bu
