After a long straight run, we halted to take in deep breaths as I held my knees with my hands to steady my balance, oh how I missed my burnt water flask, I needed it now more than ever. Janet tugged on my elbow pointing ahead of us, she was too breathless and spent to speak, gasping for air, she brought out her inhaler and used it to soothe her burning nerves.
