Chapter Fourty

After a long straight run, we halted to take in deep breaths as I held my knees with my hands to steady my balance, oh how I missed my burnt water flask, I needed it now more than ever. Janet tugged on my elbow pointing ahead of us, she was too breathless and spent to speak, gasping for air, she brought out her inhaler and used it to soothe her burning nerves. I made sure she was okay before looking at the direction she pointed, it was a ware house stocked up with weapons, we were desperately in need of them because our lives was in serious danger, getting to the door, it was locked.
