ESMERAY

The sweet sensation of our kiss sent sparks traveling throughout my body, from head to toe, as we remained locked in a breathless kiss.

Caesar sucked on my lip so intensely that I could tell he had missed me greatly as well.

"Are you okay, Esmeray? Did that monster hurt you?" He broke the kiss and inquired, his voice brimming with concern as his hands cupped my face from within the prison.

A smile broke out on my lips as I gazed into his crystal green eyes, brimming with care for me as his eyes roamed my face anxiously.

"Stop that, Caesar. I should be the one worried about you," I responded with a chuckle in my tearful voice, my hand caressing his hand that cupped my face.

"I just need to ensure you're not getting hurt again. I won't forgive myself if something bad happens to you, Esmeray," he spoke, brushing his thumb against my soft lips, causing my eyes to well up.

"I'm fine, okay? It would take more than my grumpy father to keep me away from you," I replied, a slight smile
