“Why am I home so early?” He demanded, taking a step closer to her while she stepped back.

She bit her lips; she had checked the tracker, and he wasn't going to be home sooner. She wondered why he was home so early; her eyes darted as she tried to get a glimpse of Alessandro, but he was nowhere to be found.
