Chapter 2521 Commanding Presence

Author: Five Generals
“How do we proceed with Leron, Mr. Lee?”

The Viper’s Den member asked Kaze.

Kaze glanced at Keiko, who was back after a phone call, and said indifferently, “You should assign a bed to Leron and get him in surgery for his broken arms.”

His commanding tone did not sit well with Keiko. She scoffed but said nothing.

Leron was Casius’ best fighter. Though she had no idea how Leron ended up in the hands of Kaze, she would not deny Leron any medical treatment.

Keiko would have to answer to Casius if anything were to happen to Leron, considering that Leron would go back and work for Casius.

“Get Leron into a ward and proceed with the surgery.”

Keiko instructed her employee.

She had given another shareholder a call. The individual was nearby and promised to be at the hospital soon.

Keiko was filled with anticipation.

Once the shareholder got to the hospital, Keiko bet Kaze would lose the attitude.

Ten minutes quickly passed.

Footsteps boomed outside the hospital.

Craig said tolerantly, “Hamlin sent me here, Mr. Libra.” “So what? Didn’t I tell you that he’s my uncle’s lapdog?” Cole scoffed in disdain. “Don’t tell me that he’s acting on my uncle’s orders. “I need to question him. He’s just my uncle’s chauffeur. Yet, he sent you to cause trouble without permission from my uncle.” Craig gritted his teeth without a word. Cole had no respect for Hamlin. Not wanting to cause Hamlin any trouble, Craig fought back the urge to slap Cole. “What? Do you want a piece of me?” Cole scoffed and yelled sternly, “Don’t just stand there, bastard! Kneel!” He then instructed one of the bodyguards in the back. “Get him. If he doesn’t kneel, just whip him until he does.”Cole’s dominance cheered Keiko up. Keiko would have thrown herself at Cole if she was a decade younger. With Cole’s help, Keiko grew a spine and cocked her head at Kaze. She said curtly, “Are you scared stiff, jerk? “Get ready to kneel. Should Mr. Libra make you, or are you g

“Uh… Yes, Mr. Lee.” It took a moment for Craig to comprehend Kaze’s instruction. Without hesitation, he rolled up his sleeves and slapped Cole in the face. “Smack!” Craig did not hold back, knocking Cole’s head to the side. Cole’s cheek quickly swelled up. However, Cole gritted his teeth and cocked his head back without a word. “Smack!”Craig kept it going, only stopping when Kaze said so. Cole was slapped again and again. He knew Cole too well. Riding on Kent’s coattails, Cole bossed people around and even disrespected Kent’s trusted chauffeur and confidante. However, Cole was terrified of Kaze. Craig had no qualms about slapping Cole under Kaze’s orders. Cole was a tyrant, but he would not dare take his anger out on Kaze. With Cole taking the hit willingly, Craig knew that revenge was not an option for Cole anyway. Craig would finally get his vengeance. Kaze finally waved his arm to stop Craig when Cole started coughing up blood. Craig put his head down

Cole was not dumb. He understood that Keiko had her motives to present the hospital shares. “I made a mistake, Kaze! I’ll give up on the shares!” Cole was scared stiff. The last thing he wanted was to cause Kent problems. He would be nothing if Kent lost his mayoral position. No one would pay Cole any more attention. “Get lost!” Kaze kicked Cole to the side and glanced at his watch. He said to Keiko, “You have around twenty minutes left. You can either make more phone calls or call it quits. Are you ready to pay the price, though?” Keiko paused to take a minute. She asked cautiously, “What is the price I have to pay, Mr. Lee?” Finally taking Kaze seriously, Keiko meant no disrespect. Despite summoning two prominent figures, Keiko was not able to dominate over Kaze. In fact, things were in Kaze’s favor instead. As arrogant as Keiko was, she knew that she had upset a VIP. Kaze said callously, “I don’t like the rules of your hospital. I plan to make my own.” “Make

The woman gave off a wealthy vibe. Keiko looked like a commoner next to the poised middle-aged woman. “Miya Heartano?” While Kaze examined the woman, Craig, who stood behind Kaze like a bodyguard, grimaced. Kaze asked curiously, “Who is that woman?” “Mr. Lee, that’s the wife of Caelus Heartano, a mogul in Geranium City.”Craig leaned forward and murmured the information. Since Kaze had no idea who Caelus was, Craig dug deep into explaining. “The Heartanos wield the reins of Novous, one of the three factions in Geranium City. The head of the household is Gilbus Heartano, and Caelus is Gilbus’ younger brother. “Unlike Gilbus, Caelus doesn’t get involved in the underworld activities. He carved out an empire in the glitzy world of entertainment. His business dabbles in movies, media, and real estate.“Caelus is highly influential in the entertainment world. He brought fame to many stars in Geranium City. “Plus, his family is connected to the underworld. Though Caelus has

Thump! Keiko knelt on the floor immediately. “I am sorry, Mrs. Heartano! I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused, I didn’t mean to make a scene.” She kowtowed repeatedly at Miya. She was from Geranium City and she knew first-hand how terrifying the Heartanos were. She was arrogant in front of others but not in front of Miya. “Lift up your head,” Miya said coldly and expressionlessly. Keiko lifted her head, her eyes overflowing with fear. The man behind Miya stepped up and handed Keiko a beautiful handkerchief. Keiko was slightly taken aback before she realized what the handkerchief was for. She took it, wiped her face clean, and then moved closer. Slap! Slap! Slap! Without holding back, Miya slapped Keiko ceaselessly in the face, causing the hospital director to groan in pain. After more than ten slaps, her face had gotten numb and swollen. Then, Miya got another handkerchief from her men and wiped her hands elegantly. “Causing trouble isn’t the probl

After learning what happened, Miya went up to Kaze and peered down at him. “Young Man, you come to St. Mary’s causing a scene and you don’t even falter when you see me. It’s obvious that you have a powerful support. “May I know who? Or are there any adults in your family? Maybe we know each other.” Miya asserted her status and position as a senior, aiming to intimidate and pressure Kaze, while also probing to uncover more about his background. However, Kaze was not intimidated. He said, “Mrs. Heartano, let’s just skip the nonsense. No matter what my background is, I’ve caused a scene here. “You have two options; crush me and maintain order in St. Mary’s or give me the hospital, and your order and rules will no longer exist.” Miya’s pursed lips twitched slightly. She had not anticipated such a stern reply from Kaze. Moreover, Kaze made an audacious demand right from the start, asking for the hospital as if he had no fear of biting off more than he could handle. Kaze added,

“Besides, you retaliated right? Nadia, Mr. Lobe, and Director Biyanus, you’ve slapped them all. “Now you want them to kneel and apologize to that girl? Isn’t it too much? I think this is just a trivial matter, yet you want to make a big deal out of it. It’s inappropriate of you. “Young Man, my son is almost your age, so take a piece of advice from a senior: know when to stop, especially when you've got what you wanted. “It’s better for you to leave some leeway for others. If you force them to the corner, don’t be surprised that they will bite you back. Understand?” Miya stared down at Kaze, giving him a load of advice. People like her usually would not waste their time with a stranger, but Kaze displayed power that caught her attention. Since she was unclear about Kaze’s background at the moment, it would be wiser to be polite rather than attempt intimidation. Of course, if Kaze could weigh out the consequences and know when to stop, she did not mind letting him go either

Kaze was unaware that Miya's offer to introduce Sasha into the entertainment industry was driven by malicious intent. The entertainment industry was a rabbit hole with endless temptation, especially for a girl like Sasha. The temptation that she might face in the industry could be lethal because it was almost every girl’s dream to live under the spotlight and be adored by many. If Sasha entered the entertainment industry, it might be difficult for her to escape. Given the Heartanos’ influence in the industry, they could easily control her. Until then, Miya would have direct access to Kaze’s weak spot. After the scene that Kaze caused at St. Mary’s, there was no way Miya would simply let him off the hook. The reason why Miya decided to take a softer approach to deal with the matter was because she had not figured out Kaze’s background. If she found out Kaze had no background whatsoever, she would retaliate fiercely. Kaze was unaware of the evil thoughts in her mind but

The other three experts of the Quints scoffed as they stared at Darcy. Darcy might be more beautiful than them but she would have to lose one of her legs. A beautiful cripple would be an interesting scene for them to enjoy. “What?! One of Darcy’s legs?!” Hector and Agnes were shocked by Dark’s words. Sky stepped up to express his dissatisfaction, saying, “What did Darcy do wrong? Why are you people punishing her? “Even if Darcy did something wrong, breaking one of her legs is too much! Are you people savages? How can you set up such an inhuman punishment in the family—” “Slap!” Before he could finish, Dark darted forward and slapped Sky in the face. “Ignorant boy! Who do you think you are, talking to me like that? Are you deaf? I have already announced Darcy Quint’s punishment! Do you not understand English? “Savage? Who are you calling savage? As the branch head of the Quints, Darcy colluded with outsiders to harm the head of the family. Breaking one of her legs i

The group of five strode into the living room. Looking at Dark, who exuded the same ominous aura as her daughter, Shadow, Agnes, who had been advising Kaze on how to negotiate with Phoenix, shuddered and shrank back in fear. The anger on her face was quickly replaced by a timid and flattering smile. “Madam Dark? What brings you here? Welcome to our humble abode!” Dark served Phoenix, so every member of the Quints in the South River State showed her the same respect as the elder of the family. After showing a flattering smile at Dark, Agnes turned around to her husband with furrowed brows and bellowed, “Hector, what are you doing there? Go prepare tea for our guests! “Madam Dark basically grew up with Madam Quint, they are as close as sisters! If we don’t serve her properly, we might not be able to make a stand in Riverbank anymore!” She then turned back to Dark and said respectfully, “Madam Dark, ladies, this way, please. Have a seat and we’ll prepare the best tea we have

“You’re finally getting brighter,” Hector said with a soft sigh. When Darcy became the branch head of the Quints, Agnes was the happiest because she thought the family had hit the jackpot. She foolishly thought her family’s status would surge, which fueled her arrogance along the way. Now, after what had happened, she finally woke up and saw the truth. “What else do you know other than mocking me in my face?” Agnes glared at her husband. Hector said helplessly, “I just want you to see things clearer and if your demands are too much, Madam Phoenix might not agree to them. She might even forfeit the negotiation. “After all, Sky Ocean Corporation belongs to Darcy and it’s her blood and sweat, not Madam Quint’s. So, even if the company goes bankrupt, she has nothing to lose.” Agnes pondered for a moment and realized her husband’s words made sense. Fear caught up to her immediately. She quickly said, “Kaze, then let’s not make so many demands. Let’s just appoint Darcy as the

Though it was infuriating that Kaze cost Darcy her job at Sky Ocean Corporation, Hector was willing to give Kaze another chance for some reason. He was curious whether Kaze was telling the truth. Hector had been taking the calls since yesterday while keeping Agnes out of the loop. “Kaze was right.” Hector looked at Kaze with a mix of emotions, and there was one thing he did not understand. “I just don’t get how he got Perfect World Group and Mayor Synder to follow through with his instructions.” It was a debt and project worth tens of billions.Even if Kaze had ties to Perfect World Group and Kent, it was a big personal favor to ask. Hector could not figure it out. Agnes’ jaw opened, and she glanced at Kaze before tugging at him. “Have a seat, Kaze. Have you had breakfast? Come. Do you want milk with your cereal?” She was always quick to adapt to the situation. Her attitude toward Kaze took a 180 turn. Agnes was not one to reflect on herself. She did not care what Ka

Phoenix uttered indignantly, “That’s fresh coming from Kent. “Didn’t you tell them that you were there on my behalf?“I’m a senior member of the Ridgesouth Quints. Can’t they just hand the rights to use the land to us?” Dark said resentfully, “According to the Riverbank council, they only answer to Darcy, not the Ridgesouth Quints.” “Oh, brilliant. Just brilliant.” Phoenix smirked furiously. “Kent has no respect for me. The Westeros Synders will pay for this!“What’s the situation like in Lilyrose? What does Perfect World Group have to say about this? Don’t tell me only Darcy can handle the business deals?” Dark grimaced hard. “Ma’am, when I said that I was representing you, I wasn’t even allowed into the premises.” …Humiliated, Phoenix froze. As tension rose, Phoenix jolted to her feet exasperatedly and slammed the table. “That’s pushing it!” With Phoenix seething in rage, some family members had ideas of their own. “The family of ingrates!“They have some nerve to threaten and manipulate me.”Phoenix was livid. She, a senior member of the Ridgesouth Quints, had always been superior and the center of attention. No one would defy her. Phoenix believed Hector’s family would not rebel against her. However, Kaze and Darcy had been nothing but a menace since her arrival in Riverbank. Kaze even put her behind bars for a few hours. Phoenix had never been so humiliated. She had had enough. The other family members in the South River State kept to themselves, not wanting to be at the firing end. Phoenix had dragged two family members out to the corridor to punish them for saying something she did not like. They could still hear the echoes of the slapping sound. Anxiety washed over the ward. Joan and her family were desperate. With Phoenix’s help, Joan finally seized Sky Ocean Corporation for her own, only to be blindsided by Perfect World Group and the Riverbank council. The corpora

Robin fell into contemplation before uttering, “I know what to do. “Bring me Ms. Delmore’s trusty sword.” A member retrieved Hannah’s sword and handed it to her respectfully. “Come on.” Kaze turned on his heel and left River Watcher Inn together with Hannah and Collier. As Kaze disappeared from the building, Robin sighed. “I didn’t expect the Chief to appoint a moocher to be the branch leader.” Robin knew that the revelation of Kaze’s identity would be a total shocker. Kaze took Hannah and Collier to Herbal Spring and wrote them a prescription. Hannah suffered internal injuries from Robin’s attack, and Collier sustained mental trauma from Robin’s music. Though the injuries were not serious, they were not in the best shape. Recovery would take time. Medicine could only do so much. While waiting for the medicine, Collier glanced at his phone and said, “The story is out, Kaze. Siberian attempted to kill Robin, and the Roads died protecting him.“There is nothing abou

Kaze smiled pretentiously. “Are you still trying to recruit me, Chief Hill?”Robin hung his head low in shame and replied, “I wouldn’t dare.” It finally dawned on him why Kaze would not accept his offer. Kaze even kept things hush-hush to spare him the embarrassment. However, Robin mistook Kaze’s intention as arrogance. It was true. Robin was unfit to engage in a fight with Kaze. Kaze was more powerful in strength and rank. “Rise,” Kaze uttered indifferently, not putting the blame on Robin. Robin was taken aback, but he quickly responded, “Thank you for overlooking my mistakes.” He rose to his feet. The members of the execution hall stayed in position, their faces pale. They were scared. Just minutes ago, they taunted and mocked Kaze. They had insulted the branch leader. If only there was a hole in the ground they could sink into. “Slap yourselves ten times before you can get up.” Kaze directed the comment at the execution hall members. He pointed at the

Silence filled the air on the ninth floor of River Watcher Inn. Robin stood frozen, his discolored face carrying a look of shock. The clamoring members of the execution hall looked at Kaze with their jaws dropped too. They did not see how Kaze did it. However, they picked up on the vanishing flicker. Robin’s reaction was all the answer they needed. Kaze delivered a blow when Robin attacked. Kaze clearly deterred Robin from launching another attack. Um… It was impossible. The outcome left emotions running high. While Robin killed Siberian with ease, he was no match for Kaze. Robin looked Kaze dead in the eye, his eyes unreadable. He felt that he was a tiny step away from death when Kaze struck him. It had been many years since Robin was consumed by that feeling. Robin knew from experience what it meant. Kaze could kill him if he wanted to. Robin would end up lifeless just like Siberian. Robin cocked his head back stiffly and glanced at the dagger that sank
