“Mr. Taon, I don’t see what you’re so smug about. If Quintessential doesn’t pay up, then Lilyrose Bank would lose a whopping 50 million dollars in bad debt.”

Maurice’s accusation set off a flurry of camera flashes at Darcy.

“Ms. Quint, are you admitting that you’re a cheat?” a reporter asked aloud.
