Chapter 85

Elayna awoke a few hours later. She didn’t recall when Nick got out of bed. She sat up. What time was it? Nick’s room had no windows. It was decorated very well but it was surrounded in white stone.

 She got up then. She wrapped the sheets around her. She recalled what he told her last night about where all the different rooms were. She walked down the hallway. It opened up into a large space with a divider. One was the kitchen and dining room area and the other was the living room area. She saw two plates with food on the table, but still no Nick. She walked into the living room area where the sunlight spilled out. 

She saw him then. He was standing outside on the porch talking on his cell phone. She could see him through the all glass walls. He finally turned around and saw her. He smiled and waved at her. He held up his hand to signal h
