Not really, she deduced. He could betray her, but she felt like he was being genuine this time. She spoke to him then.
“I told him to wait for my signal. ”

“Of course.” She replied.

Their was another long pause.
Elayna took that as her cue to change into something more comfortable than the chiffon, formal gown she had been wearing. She went into the bathroom and changed into a white tank top and yoga pants she had asked Rosa to hide in the bathroom cabinet for her yesterday.
