She jumped up from the stone bench and her husband yanked her by her arm, pulling her close to him. She stumbled, not quite falling. Nick took a step forward. Elayna felt refreshed and more like she had a better grip on things tonight than any other night since she had arrived back to her “normal” life. Though nothing was normal.
