CHAPTER 80: UNSPOKEN TRUTH

NATASHA

"I'm so full," I moaned, resting my back where I sit after eating the steak like a starved animal.

Michael is sitting adjacent to me.

"I think I ate for a whole year tonight," I groaned, finding it hard to move and feeling so sleepy.

"Right energy, right strength. You need it," he said, his tone somewhat teasing, giving me a clue of something else.

Raising an eyebrow at him, I scowled.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Stop using words that could mean something else."

"I was talking about work tomorrow. I believe we have a lot of load to carry, right?"

Shaking my head negatively, I watched the lump in his throat bob up and down as he drank water. It's something everyone does every day, but there must be something special in him that makes him look like an actor advertising water on TV.

I don't know if he's intentionally making himself look sexy or if it's just his usual self. But I think I'll always see him this way.
