2024-10-29 19:42:56Shifting into a wolf after getting dunked into ice cold water was only a little less inconvenient than getting wet as a wolf. I wish I could magically dry off by shifting, but nope! The water sticks to me, and I end up with wet fur. By the time I had finished shaking off the excess, Nate was out of the river, and kneeling next to me.
“Let’s go to my house first, okay?” he asked, then kissed my nose.
I waited for him to shift and shake, then we made our way back to the neighborhood. I felt like one weight had lifted off my chest. Admitting to Nate how I felt went much better than I had thought, although I don’t think I’ll be making love in the dirt any time soon. Nate also seemed very happy with me. Gamma Lambda Eta’s house was beautiful. It was a manor house with a turret and a wrap around porch. I loved it at first sight!
