Jade was going to have to accept what was coming, she knew she was going to fulfill what she had to do, and then it was going to be reset. She hoped her father would find her again and she would be safe. She wasn’t sure what dangers would be after her when this would be over, but she didn’t have a choice.
“Don’t worry Jade, I am going to find you I promise,” Jayden said putting his hand on her shoulder. “I know you don’t think I will this time, but I will.”
“I know dad, I am just scared is all.” She said looking at him. “Is mom going to be with me?”
Jayden knew the answer to that, he didn’t want to answer her question but he had to.
Getting on the plane felt like something out of a drama movie, everyone seemed unsettled, Jade knew everyone was nervous about this next part. She knew she had to be careful around the Fae, she had to be strong to show them she was in power, and she wanted nothing more than to end everything and open everyone up to new things. “Don’t worry just get some sleep, this is going to take a while to get to Russia,” Gage whispered. Jade watched the clouds, it was going to be a long trip, but she wasn’t going to be able to go to sleep. She wondered how this witch was going to be. Was she going to be as friendly as Maria? Or was she going to be some crazy witch that everyone was going to be concerned about?
It took the witch five minutes to set up, but when the portal opened, everyone was stunned for a second. “Alright, I’ll go first, don’t take your time because this will close and you will be left behind.” She said looking at the group before she went through. Gage and Jade went through, the rest followed after. The ride through the portal was like going on a roller coaster ride, going up and then straight down. Stomach twisting, heart racing. Jade blinked, she was already liking the realm, it was colorful and peaceful. The portal closed as soon as Jayden stepped through it. “So now the games begin, just watch you
Jade was too wound up to relax and eat. She closed her eyes to try and relax. She knew she was in way over her head but she knew she had to try and get over whatever they were going to throw in her direction. She would have to be smarter and she would have to show them no fear. She watched as everyone else seemed calm about being in their realm, they didn’t seem to care much about what they were against. Maybe Jade was overthinking about who the Fae were and they would reveal themselves as being different. That was until she blinked and she was alone at the fire. “Great.” She said standing up. “So you want to test me now?” she said looking around half expecting them to come out of the woods but she was alone.
Jade opened her eyes, it was morning. The voice hadn’t come around, so she decided to continue her journey. She wasn’t sure where she was going to go. She just knew she had to move. She was afraid for her friends, but the voice told her they were still together, so they were safe. She wasn’t sure where she had to go, but she knew she had to figure out what they wanted her to learn. She had to trust in herself and learn from herself to figure it out. Maybe she was too bossy, and not letting anyone else lead the party. Maybe she had to let others and she would stand back and let them lead. Maybe she was out of her league and she wasn’t where she was supposed to be. Jade walked for what seemed like it was hours, she wasn’t sure if she
Jade knew she needed to use her mind to understand what they wanted her to do. She hated that she was alone, she wished she was back in her world and her life was the same before all this crazy nonsense was done. She hated that her childhood was stolen from her and that her mother moved from one man to another and she kept Jade in the dark about her father. She wanted to know her father, she wanted to learn about him and love him. She never asked about her father because Rachel made sure to keep her in the dark about him. He was a run-away father was what she learned. She learned to hate him. “You hate your mother, you need to let go of that.” The voice spoke. “I don’t hate her anymore, I found my father.”&nb
“I guess that makes sense,” Jade said wanting to forget what happened to her when she was younger. She knew that man never was released again, she hated that man, and what she had to go through when the court was brought up. “I had to go through years of court because of my mom and her choices of men. He wasn’t the only bad one.” “We know. But don’t worry you don’t have to face any more of them. We know that you are aware of what he can bring up. You better prepare what he is going to bring into your life when you battle him.” “Juka better be careful when he brings people up because I will ensure to use them against him too.” Jade snapped. “I hate that I’ve had a shitty childhood if only things were different.&rd
Seeing how her father struggled when he was a human-made her sad. She wasn’t sure how to take this in. she wanted to go to him and help him, but she knew these were visions from the past. She wasn’t sure how he would react when he found out she would know about how he was in his past. It broke her heart that he was human and no one was there to help him and that he was there alone, but he was so strong, and he wouldn’t let them take him down, he was a fighter, even if he was just a human. “Jayden lost his family, fell to the pit of hell, and found his way again.” The voice said. “Let me show you.” “Okay,” Jade said closing her eyes, another vision.&n
Jade didn’t know how to react, she was sick to her stomach, the man she called her love wasn’t her love anymore. She couldn’t see Gage doing all of this stuff especially to someone she was related to. She was pissed, she wanted to end everything she knew, she wanted to run away from Gage and she wanted to get rid of the Spell-Blade in her. She wanted to become human and leave everything behind. “How, how do I become human again?” Jade said wiping the tears from her eyes. “I don’t want to be anything to do with the Spell-Blades.” “You have to do what needs to be done, Jade. This is who you are right now.” The voice said. “I will be showing you next how Gage became the darkness he has. You will understand him as
“Since I can’t have you anymore Jade I’m going for your mother!” Juka taunted. Jade wasn’t sure if they were empty threats, she was going to get to him again, she wanted to show him that his army was going to fall before his eyes, and they were. His army was getting smaller by the second. The group Jade had formed had already lost people, but they were holding strong. She was proud of them; she would celebrate with them if they made it out alive. The place was practically destroyed, but Jade promised herself she would help them rebuild it. She was exhausted from the fighting, the realms were battling, Juka had a small army with him still. She was making her way towards him; nothing was going to stop her from taking him out. The fact he threatened her mother and was goin
Following Dasha and everyone else inside, Jade felt an instant relaxation for some reason, maybe it was from the magical realm, or because she knew she could rest for some reason. Taking a deep breath when they entered the castle, Dasha led them each to their rooms, Jades was the first room, so she was able to run her bath and relax first, she was glad she was the first one to go. Getting in the tub, she laid her head back and closed her eyes. She felt a similar feeling of getting a vision, she wanted to fight it, but someone was pulling her into it. She lost to it. “Hello, Jade.” A familiar voice spoke. “Who, who are you?” she said but couldn’t move or see the person.&nb
The Fae didn’t allow anyone to walk, they summoned a horse and carriage and gave everyone a tour of the realm. Jade was glad she didn’t have to go through the whole vision thing again, she wasn’t sure she had the strength again. “How are you feeling?” Jayden asked holding Jade’s hand. “Tired, I didn’t think seeing visions were going to be so hard on me.” She said looking at him. “I didn’t realize you went through so much when you were human and all.” Jayden wasn’t sure he wanted to go through and talk about his past. It had been a long time since he’d thought about them. He wanted to see him and see them, he knew he wouldn&rsq
Jade wasn’t sure if they were serious, but she was ready to go back to her friends. “I think I am ready.” She said taking a deep breath. “So how do I go back?” “Close your eyes, and when you open them you will be back with them.” “Alright.” She said taking one final deep breath before she closed her eyes. She felt her body become light and she closed her eyes and then quickly opened her eyes, she was laying on the floor in the living room of the witch. “Wait.” She said getting to her feet, she was wobbly. Gage grabbed her. “I don’t understand.” “Sit down
Jade felt something for Gage, she felt pain for him. She didn’t want to see the rest of his life, she knew he was going to be cold and dark. She knew his whole life was a life and taken away from him. “I don’t even know what to say about this anymore.” She said with tears forming in her eyes. “Are you trying to make me see the sadness in each of their lives? I understand why they are in this.” “No Jade we are trying to show you why they are the way they are. You cannot change them, and we want you to stop trying. You have to continue with what you have to do.” “I am going to continue.” She whispered. “Please can you send me back, I promise not
Jade was torn about what she would do about Gage, he didn’t have a right to turn on her, he needed to know the truth about what happened. Vampires didn’t kill his parents, his own did. He was kidnapped and was tortured and forced into his position. Yuno was responsible for what happened and he should be the one that answers for that. She wondered why Yuno wanted her memory wiped. “Why did Yuno want my memory wiped?” “Oh, finally a new question, something you’ve never asked before.” The voice said. “Most likely because he thought you would remember something like we’ve shown you today. He is probably wondering if you’ve remembered anything from your past lives. Some people do remember.”
Jade didn’t know how to react, she was sick to her stomach, the man she called her love wasn’t her love anymore. She couldn’t see Gage doing all of this stuff especially to someone she was related to.
