“If you will follow me,” Darius said motioning for the group to follow him. “Once you are settled, I will come back and get you for dinner. You will eat with the pack. Well, the non-blood suckers anyways.” He said looking at Jayden.
“I’m not eating with the mutts,” Gage growled. “Neither is Jade.”
“Queen Jade is welcomed to come, you are not allowed to make her decisions for her. It would be customary for her to attend the dinner to help with what she wants to do.” He said looking at her. “Please come to dinner tonight, if you want to gain ground and uniting the realms, this will help.” He said slightly bowing.
Jade looked at Gage, he shook his h
Jade looked around the house, it was empty at least until they got to the kitchen, it was massive, there were loads of people. Jade held her breath when everyone stopped talking and looked at her, she wasn’t sure if she should say anything. “Everyone I would like to introduce you to Queen Jade,” Darius spoke loud and clear. “She is the one the prophecy spoke about to end our suffering, she is here to help Maria and get things going, please be kind she isn’t a threat.” He said glancing at Jade. “She is nervous, because of the stories she’s been told of our kind, let’s show her our kindness.” Everyone stood up and bowed to her, “yes Alpha.” They said in unison, allowing her to walk with Darius and find a spot near him.
Jade wasn’t sure about taking wolves with her on her journey, but it might be a good idea to have more protection with her even with the power she had. “Okay we can take some of your wolves with us, it will show the other realms there is already a merge happening, we might get less resistance.” She half-smiled. “See you are already acting as a good leader, you will get us together as one.” He said eating more of his food. “I don’t want to let you go unless you can do a quick course on cooking, we’re going to suffer from bad food here.” “I don’t think I could teach anyone to cook overnight.” Jade joked.&
Jade could feel him getting worse, she knew she could protect herself, she didn’t want to hurt him, but she would if it came down to it. “Please go and do your training Darius.” She said getting up from the table. “Come and find me when you are done.” She left without waiting for a response from him, Rachel followed. “That man is scary when he is angry,” Rachel whispered. “That’s an Alpha werewolf mom,” Jade said glancing at her. “And you want to leave me here with him?” she said grabbing onto Jade’s arm to stop her. “Please I rather go with you.” “I don’t want to take a chance and get you killed because then I will die too.” She s
Jade rolled her eyes at Jayden, she didn’t care if he heard her in the forest. She wanted to get back at Juka for taking her mother to his realm. She wanted to know his plans and why he was set on trying to be the ruler. Hell, she didn’t want to be a ruler, she wanted to be normal again, but that was taken from her she hated it. “Juka is not one to take lightly, just because he seemed innocent, he was trying to play you, Jade.” Gage stroked her face. “Well he doesn’t realize that he has pissed me off and when he has done that, I am planning his death slowly.” “He is a planner, Jade,” Michael said walking closer to them. “He probably alrea
“And I told you I don’t trust the mutts.” Gage snapped. “I don’t like that we’re bringing them with us. They are going to keep him posted on what you are up to. I don’t even know if Juka has him on his side. We cannot trust them!” “Fine Gage, we will be careful, and we won't keep him posted on our plans, but they are coming, we could use the extra help. We are going against everyone you know this isn’t going to be a walk in the park, and it’s going to be extremely hard when you think about it. We have to be careful.” “Yeah and you leaving Rachel behind, I don’t think that’s a good idea either, he could turn him over too.” He said looking away. “Something doesn’t sit rig
As the three of them walked around the forest, it was quiet for a good thirty minutes before alarms started blaring. “Hm, well that doesn’t sound inviting,” Michael spoke. “Rogues are attacking, you three should head to the packhouse.” One of the warriors spoke running past them. “No way, I want to have some fun,” Gage said. “I finally get to kill something.” He said looking at Jade. “Come on baby, let’s show them how we kill.” Jade rolled her eyes. “Just be careful not to kill any one of their pack members, I would hate to have to explain why you killed theirs.&rdq
Jade opened her eyes, the white room startled her, she wasn’t sure what happened. Gage opened his eyes. “You’re awake!” “What happened?” she asked. “What was the last thing you remember?” “Me fighting two rogues?” she looking at Jayden and then Gage. “Why?” “You shifted,” Darius spoke before anyone said anything. “You don’t remember that?” “No,” she said shaking her head. “How can I shift, I am not a wolf.” She scoffed.&
Jade laid her head back and closed her eyes, she wanted to get up and move around but she knew she was far too weak. An alarm started blaring again, her eyes darted open. “Rogues again?” she growled. Two warriors came into the clinic, “Rogues get your patients to the underground bunker Darius’ orders.” One of them spoke, “we’ll help.” Jade got out of bed, her head was spinning again. “Take my mother down, I’m going to help them.” “No, Jade you’re going to get yourself killed, you are sick,” Doc spoke holding onto her arm. “I just need someone to bi
“Since I can’t have you anymore Jade I’m going for your mother!” Juka taunted. Jade wasn’t sure if they were empty threats, she was going to get to him again, she wanted to show him that his army was going to fall before his eyes, and they were. His army was getting smaller by the second. The group Jade had formed had already lost people, but they were holding strong. She was proud of them; she would celebrate with them if they made it out alive. The place was practically destroyed, but Jade promised herself she would help them rebuild it. She was exhausted from the fighting, the realms were battling, Juka had a small army with him still. She was making her way towards him; nothing was going to stop her from taking him out. The fact he threatened her mother and was goin
Following Dasha and everyone else inside, Jade felt an instant relaxation for some reason, maybe it was from the magical realm, or because she knew she could rest for some reason. Taking a deep breath when they entered the castle, Dasha led them each to their rooms, Jades was the first room, so she was able to run her bath and relax first, she was glad she was the first one to go. Getting in the tub, she laid her head back and closed her eyes. She felt a similar feeling of getting a vision, she wanted to fight it, but someone was pulling her into it. She lost to it. “Hello, Jade.” A familiar voice spoke. “Who, who are you?” she said but couldn’t move or see the person.&nb
The Fae didn’t allow anyone to walk, they summoned a horse and carriage and gave everyone a tour of the realm. Jade was glad she didn’t have to go through the whole vision thing again, she wasn’t sure she had the strength again. “How are you feeling?” Jayden asked holding Jade’s hand. “Tired, I didn’t think seeing visions were going to be so hard on me.” She said looking at him. “I didn’t realize you went through so much when you were human and all.” Jayden wasn’t sure he wanted to go through and talk about his past. It had been a long time since he’d thought about them. He wanted to see him and see them, he knew he wouldn&rsq
Jade wasn’t sure if they were serious, but she was ready to go back to her friends. “I think I am ready.” She said taking a deep breath. “So how do I go back?” “Close your eyes, and when you open them you will be back with them.” “Alright.” She said taking one final deep breath before she closed her eyes. She felt her body become light and she closed her eyes and then quickly opened her eyes, she was laying on the floor in the living room of the witch. “Wait.” She said getting to her feet, she was wobbly. Gage grabbed her. “I don’t understand.” “Sit down
Jade felt something for Gage, she felt pain for him. She didn’t want to see the rest of his life, she knew he was going to be cold and dark. She knew his whole life was a life and taken away from him. “I don’t even know what to say about this anymore.” She said with tears forming in her eyes. “Are you trying to make me see the sadness in each of their lives? I understand why they are in this.” “No Jade we are trying to show you why they are the way they are. You cannot change them, and we want you to stop trying. You have to continue with what you have to do.” “I am going to continue.” She whispered. “Please can you send me back, I promise not
Jade was torn about what she would do about Gage, he didn’t have a right to turn on her, he needed to know the truth about what happened. Vampires didn’t kill his parents, his own did. He was kidnapped and was tortured and forced into his position. Yuno was responsible for what happened and he should be the one that answers for that. She wondered why Yuno wanted her memory wiped. “Why did Yuno want my memory wiped?” “Oh, finally a new question, something you’ve never asked before.” The voice said. “Most likely because he thought you would remember something like we’ve shown you today. He is probably wondering if you’ve remembered anything from your past lives. Some people do remember.”
Jade didn’t know how to react, she was sick to her stomach, the man she called her love wasn’t her love anymore. She couldn’t see Gage doing all of this stuff especially to someone she was related to. She was pissed, she wanted to end everything she knew, she wanted to run away from Gage and she wanted to get rid of the Spell-Blade in her. She wanted to become human and leave everything behind. “How, how do I become human again?” Jade said wiping the tears from her eyes. “I don’t want to be anything to do with the Spell-Blades.” “You have to do what needs to be done, Jade. This is who you are right now.” The voice said. “I will be showing you next how Gage became the darkness he has. You will understand him as
Seeing how her father struggled when he was a human-made her sad. She wasn’t sure how to take this in. she wanted to go to him and help him, but she knew these were visions from the past. She wasn’t sure how he would react when he found out she would know about how he was in his past. It broke her heart that he was human and no one was there to help him and that he was there alone, but he was so strong, and he wouldn’t let them take him down, he was a fighter, even if he was just a human. “Jayden lost his family, fell to the pit of hell, and found his way again.” The voice said. “Let me show you.” “Okay,” Jade said closing her eyes, another vision.&n
“I guess that makes sense,” Jade said wanting to forget what happened to her when she was younger. She knew that man never was released again, she hated that man, and what she had to go through when the court was brought up. “I had to go through years of court because of my mom and her choices of men. He wasn’t the only bad one.” “We know. But don’t worry you don’t have to face any more of them. We know that you are aware of what he can bring up. You better prepare what he is going to bring into your life when you battle him.” “Juka better be careful when he brings people up because I will ensure to use them against him too.” Jade snapped. “I hate that I’ve had a shitty childhood if only things were different.&rd
