I slowly opened my eyes and winced diving back under the covers with cusses at the tip of my lips for the person that dared to leave the curtain that wide open.

I waited to adjust my droopy eyes to the bright light before opening them again and gently pushing aside the quilt sheet. I looked around the room I'm quaint familiar with my brain quickly registering how I got here in the first place.
