He called out to the door while pressing his beard on hard. "Wait a minute."

Once his beard was ready, he ran to open the door and saw Lune standing outside.

Lune held a white kitten in her arms and said with a smile, "Uncle Johnson!"

Jaybie stood behind his sister, scanning Maxwell up and down with his laser eyes.

Maxwell had goosebumps being scrutinized by Jaybie this way. He quickly looked away, set his eyes on Lune's face, and said with a smile, "Hey, you’re here?"

Lune pouted and looked back at Jaybie. "Brother insists on following me, so annoying!"

"Your brother can play with Uncle Johnson, too. You shouldn’t be unreasonable, dear." Maxwell quickly became a peacemaker.

"I have something to say to Uncle Johnson," Lune replied.

"I'm afraid you can't explain clearly." Jaybie retorted. Then, he brushed past Lune and squeezed his way into the house.
