Chapter 742

Maxwell finally put away his phone and continued working after Sonnet stopped replying to him. However, he realized that Gemma had stopped reporting to everyone.

“Why did you stop again?” He asked with a frown across his face.

“Mr. Yates, I’ve finished my report,” Gemma replied anxiously. She had finished her report a minute ago. Johnson had disregarded her all along!

“Oh, I see. Who’s next?” Maxwell said calmly.

Everyone in the room stared at each other.

After a while, the employee taking down the meeting minutes reminded him softly, “There’s no one else. Everyone has finished reporting on their work statuses, Mr. Yates.”

Maxwell coughed twice. He had been overly immersed in the text from his wife that he had forgotten that Gemma would be the last one to speak in the meeting!

“Oh, alright. Let me say something then…” He recomposed himself and started getting to work again.
