Chapter 640

Lindy and Sonnet stared at the men before them in shock.

It was as if Lucas and Marcus were elementary school students that had done something wrong. They scratched their heads and had similar looks of embarrassment on their faces.

The policeman told Sonnet, “They were involved in a fight. The other party didn’t want to press charges against them nor did they want compensation. Please pay the fine and bring them home. Don’t make the same mistakes ever again!”

Sonnet exchanged a few words with the policeman in an apologetic tone and paid the fine for both of them. She then brought the two men out of the police station.

“My car is still parked at the bar. Can you drive me back?” Marcus asked softly as he tugged on Lindy’s sleeve.

Lindy flung his hand off her agitatedly and said, “Come on!”

Lucas stared at them both in a daze. Sonnet turned around to look at him. “Both of us should go first!”
