Maxwell was just about to say something when Johnny spoke, “Why are you asking him such things? Can he give you any professional suggestions?”

His words were directed at Sonnet. There was an arrogant expression on his face as he said, “Would you require a fool to approve a star investment consultant’s recommendations?”

Maxwell’s expression darkened at once.

He felt a small hand gripping his hand tightly. He turned around to look at Sonnet. There was a small smile on her face.

She replied to Johnny, “Of course, my husband’s approval will be needed. This money belongs to him.”

“If he makes a wrong decision, will you let him as well?” Johnny asked in an irritated tone.

“Of course, I’ll support all of my husband’s decisions. It’s alright even if he makes a loss. It’s just 2 million and 8 hundred thousand dollars. He has plenty of money. He can do whatever he wants with his money!” Sonnet said.

Maxwell was pretty unhappy with Johnny just now but he instantly felt better now.
