Sonnet felt her heart sink.

After Myles finished speaking, he suddenly squinted his eyes at Sonnet and said, “Sonnie, what do you mean by asking that? Could it be that you—”

“Grandpa! You just said Uncle Maxwell was good, and now you’re calling him a fool!” Jaybie walked in and interrupted Myles.
