“I promised Shay that I’d bring him out to play this evening. That’s why I came here. I talked to Miss Gwen beforehand. She told me that Shay doesn’t take naps.”

“Oh, alright, wait for me. I’ll bring Shay out,” Skylar walked to the classroom with quick strides.

Sonnet sneered as she looked at her silhouette.

She had put on an excellent act just now. Even Sonnet would have assumed that she had intentionally hurt her.

“Is she Shay’s teacher-in-charge?” Logan asked.

Sonnet turned around to look at him. “She used to be, but she’s no longer his teacher-in-charge from today onwards.”

“Why?”

“Because I don’t think she’s suitable.”

“You don’t seem to be on good terms with her,” Logan said as he narrowed his eyes and looked at her.

Sonnet met his gaze and said, “My relationship with her has nothing to do with her relationship with Shay.”

Skylar brought Shay out of the teaching building. Sonnet opened the school gate so that Logan could fetch Shay.

Shay jumped into Logan’s ar
