Logan waited for the office door to close before he raised an eyebrow at Sonnet. "You can speak now."

Sonnet bit her lip and said, "Mr. Scott, I’m sure you’re aware of my situation, right?"

Logan lit a cigarette, took a puff, exhaled the smoke, and asked casually, "What are you referring to?"

"Uh, about my two children..."

Logan had insinuated to her previously, so he clearly already knew about her background.

Presumably, he and the Brooks were somewhat friendly. She would not be surprised even if he had told the Brooks about her.
