Prompt 22: Werewolves Romance/Love Triangle With Twins

FL:

A young police officer, who is unaware she is a werewolf, begins to have violent dreams

connected to the spate of bloody, vicious killings in her hometown whereupon the victims

appear to be torn by a wild animal. She'd wake up in the morning in her own bedroom bloody

and naked after each killing. She begins to suspect she might have something to do with these

murders as the victims are drug dealers, gang bangers, pimps, and registered sex offenders--

most of them people she arrested or helped arrest and are currently out on bail. When one of

the detectives starts asking questions, she feels boxed in and becomes convinced she might be

the culprit. One day, she goes to her parents' house and finds them both slaughtered in the

same manner as the other victims.

Before she can fully process what's happening, a man grabs her in the dark (she has instant

connection with this man) and tells her she has to go with him if she wants to live just as police

cars pull up in the front yard (someone tipped them off). Before they leave, he tells her to shift

and he says he can get her to shift because he is her mate and an Alpha. They run and a

couple of police officers go after them because heck, the murders look like animal attacks and

two big-ass wolves just came out of that house.

Just as they are about to enter the Alpha's territory, a giant wolf appears on the road in front of

them and blocks their way. They get out of the car. This wolf is the estranged twin of the Alpha

and the leader of a rogue pack responsible for a rash of crime waves across all territories. The

rogue wolf looks at the woman and claims he is her mate.

Potential development (Non Mandatory)

1.FL finds out she's adopted and her real father was the alpha of a rival pack and murdered by the father of the twins, the previous Alpha, for his mate and territory. She is told this is just the way of the wolves, but her human side refuses to accept it

2.She struggles to adjust to her life as a werewolf especially when her wolf starts telepathically talking to her

3. Since your FL was seeing the killings in her dream, she must have some kind of psychic ability, eh?

4. She wants to investigate her adoptive parents' death, while she finds out there's a Nationwide search for her.

 

 

Questions to consider:

1.Something big broke the twins up. What broke up the Alpha Twins? (It must be so bad that one of them became rogue)

2. Why won't the FL reject the rogue (even though there are hints he may be behind the murders--he's responsible for some of them but not the parents)?

3. What kind of romantic dynamic would this menage a trois have while avoiding "brotherly love"?

4. Who is the killer?

5. Who are the real villains that threatens our trio?

6. How does our heroine react to being America's (or whatever) Most Wanted criminal while having to adjust to being a wolf and a Luna?

7. What are the main differences between the two brothers?
