Stanley's chair screeched across the floor as he abruptly stood, his eyes blazing with indignation. "Debra, what kind of tone is that? Who do you think you are, questioning my mother?"

Debra cast a cold, unyielding glance at them. "I am the head of the Frazier family. I have every right to question her, and even if I were to send her to prison, it would be within my authority."

Rosalie tried to smooth things over. "It's a misunderstanding, Debra."

"A misunderstanding? Weren't you trying to send me to Juan's bed?"
