Chapter V

Sasha just got off from work and now she's walking home. She's really excited that tonight her mother is cooking them dinner. It's not always that her mom cooks so when she does, it's a good evening. 

"I'm home!" Sasha yelled, as soon as she was inside and taking off her shoes. She didn't even realize that there was another pair of shoes not usually in there. 

It was weird that Yuki didn't run to her but then she thought it was probably because her mom is cooking. Immediately, she went inside her room to change. After that, she went out and smelled their dinner from across the room. 

On her way to the kitchen, she heard her brother blabbering. And when she heard a man's voice, she frowned. Did her mother meet a guy or something? She strode her way to look and when she saw who it was her eyes widened.

"What are you doing here?" She was so surprised to see the new guy with her brother.

Both men looked at the surprised Sasha and Eustone smirked. 

"Hey there, Braun!" He greeted with that annoying look on his face. 

"What are you doing here?" She asked again.

"Mom and I invited him over for dinner. He bought me oranges and apples!" Yuki excitedly replied to his sister.

Sasha glared at Eustone. "You knew I lived here, huh? Are you a stalker?"

"Woah! Hang on there, Braun. I didn't know until Yuki here told me," he grins. "I am just here for Yuki and your mom's food. Nothing else."

Sasha doesn't believe him at all. It was all written in his annoying face but she knows she can't make him leave if it was really her mom who invited him. So, she threw him a dirty stare and marched to the kitchen.

"Mom!" She yells.

"Yes, sweetie?" Her mom asked smiling. 

"Why did you invite him over for dinner?" She asked, her brows almost touching together and her arm crossed.

"Why not? I mean he is a good guy, Sasha." Her mom told her pouring the soup in a big bowl. "Will you please get the rice and we'll eat now. Cheer up! It's only for tonight." 

Sasha rolled her eyes. Well, she can't argue with her mother so she took the rice and helped set up the table. Every time she sees his face she scoffs in annoyance.

They prayed and then talk a little in the middle of eating. Sasha could see that her mother and brother is fond of Eustone. She keeps glaring at him every second.

"But I think Sasha doesn't like me at all," Eustone told her mother, and he glances at her and then back to her mother.

"She's just not good at showing how she feels but she thinks your nice."

"Mom! I never said that!" 

Eustone smiled at what he found out. Now he couldn't stop smiling about it. Once the dinner was over, he stayed for a while to play with Yuki while Sasha and her Mrs. Braun wash the dishes. 

When it was getting late, Eustone decided to go home which made Sasha happy. He walked him out of the door and to an alley. 

"Your mom and little brother are really nice," he spoke once they were in the lampost. 

"I know." She muttered.

Eustone sighed and faced Sasha. "Thanks for the dinner and for not dragging me out and make me leave," he joked.

"If I wanted to, I would but I couldn't."

"So, I'll see you tomorrow."

Eustone turned away and started to walk away when he heard her scream, "Thank you! And I'm sorry for kicking you!"

The moment he looked back, she was already running back home. It made Eustone chuckled. Sasha was different from every other girl he knew. Because of that, he couldn't help but want to get closer to her. 

The next day, Eustone tried to get a 'good morning' from Sasha, but then again he failed at attempting to. She was always back to square one every other day and he accepts her challenge. 

"Aren't you really getting tired of trying to get closer to her?" Hades asked Eustone at lunch.

"Not at all," he answered, smirking. "I like it even more that she's like that. It's like a challenging game."

"Look, bro, do you even know what happened to her in the past? Bro, she's disgusting!" Hades was really trying to convince his friend about Sasha. He thought this guy just doesn't know anything about seducing a coach and getting an abortion and about his aunt dragging Sasha in front of everyone! "Come on bro! She's telling you to avoid her!"

"But I don't want to that," Eustone muttered.

Hades raked his hair in his friend's stubbornness. "I warned you already! If I were you I'd chose Arya over Sasha."

"Arya is not my type." 

Little did Eustone know that Arya had heard what he said. It made her jealous and mad over Sasha.

After class, Sasha was on her way to go out when she saw Eustone, she sighed. "What do you want, new guy?" She asked him.

"I'll walk you home," he said smiling that annoyed her.

"What are you smiling at?" 

"You were the first to speak to me," he replied, grinning at her.

She stopped walking and face Eustone's irritating face. "Listen here, new guy. I don't want you to walk me home. I can manage to go home alone. So why don't you, go along with your friends. That'll suit you."

And with that, she left him. He only smiled at her and then decided to not follow her for no reason. 

It was almost eight forty-five when Sasha got off work. They had a pretty busy night so she had to stay a little longer than usual. As she was walking, she suddenly felt a little colder and a little bit nervous when she saw a guy at the back of her.

Knowing it was a little dark and nobody was passing by, she began to walk faster. The guy was still following her and it made her heart beating fast. When she saw a store she immediately went inside and pretended to be buying something. She stayed there for almost fifteen minutes just looking at the guy outside who followed her.

Sasha was already feeling hopeless and it was getting late so she decided to go outside. Her breath heaved as the guy was still following her. He was wearing a hoodie so she can't see his face. When the guy started to get closer to her she immediately started running. Barely seeing what's head because she was panicking, she bumped into someone and when she looked up she cried.
