Isaac had strictly prohibited the entry to his office, he said he had work to do and whoever disturbed him would be fired that instant, Jermy didn’t get time to give the file to him. Hours passed and finally, Isaac walked out of the room but his face was distorted and he was boiling in anger,

“Boss I have something to tell—“

“What did she say to you when you met her?” He didn’t listen to what he had to say, instead, he looked at Jermy with fury and spoke with clenched teeth.

“Boss, I was going in but it was you who had forbidden us to enter.

“Okay tell me now! I am listening,” 

“She didn’t agree, instead she gave me this, and said—“ Jermy stopped, 

“What did she say?” Isaac lashed out.

“You won’t believe me but she said, `` if you agree with this contract then we will have a deal, if you don’t then Farewell,” he ate a few words because he didn’t want Isaac to freak out.

“She said something like that?” Isaac was surprised because Ada he met would never say something like that.

“Technically it was her advisor who said it but— Boss but what is wrong?” Jermy mustered up the courage and asked,

“Mom called! She said her daughter-in-law is very sad because of how rude I am to her! She called me home,” Isaac growled.

“Well, that’s true!” Jermy added.

“Do you want to lose your job?” Isaac asked with an evil smirk.

“I am sorry!”

Isaac rubbed his forehead and then pulled the file from his hand and muttered.

“I will deal with her once, I am done explaining to my mother,” 

He walked away while clenching his teeth.

“I don’t know if I should laugh or cry!” Jermy pulled a tissue paper out of the popup box and blew his nose on it.

Flash Back:

Peace took Ada out of the building, Peace walked over to her jeep, and opened unlocked it.

“Peace, what did you do? What if he disagrees? It’s us that will be at loss, and Charlotte’s company will be doomed to face all wrath,” Ada was very tensed. “Let me go back inside, I am sure I can convince him,” She spoke.

“No! It’s impossible to break his ego, he will never bow down to someone insignificant like us, he will take advantage of the situation.” Peace started the engine.

“Then? What is your plan?—do you have a plan?” Ada was unsure.

“We will go after someone that will make the overgrown egoistic man bow before her,” 

“Who?” Ada asked with surprise.

“You will see,” she drove off.

They drove across the city and Peace stopped her jeep before a small shop.

“What are we doing at a Pastry shop?” Ada asked with surprise.

“Calm down! You will know it when the time comes,” Peace got off and before closing the door she spoke again, “I will be back in a while, you can come if you want,” she added.

“Nope! Sweets are not my thing, I will pass,” Ada waved her hand.

“Okay! I will be back,” Peace closed the door behind her and walked into the diabetes shop.

Ada played around with her fingers for ten solid minutes until she saw Peace walk out of the ship with three baby pink boxes decorated with flower patterns. They were very pleasing to the eyes but Ada frowned, as Peace opened up the back door and placed the boxes on the seat.

“What? Are we celebrating our loss by eating cakes?” Ada sarcastically spoke.

“No! You are not but I am,” she chuckled and sat back in the driver's seat. “We have one more thing to buy and then we are good to go.

Peace drove away, 

“Are you going to tell me, why did we bring these sweets with us?”

“There are two Fruit tarts and a strawberry cake in those boxes, we have to deliver it to someone, but before that, we need some red roses,”  Peace looked around their road to see if there was any flower shop nearby.

“Are you going to propose to someone?” Ada asked.

“Pfft—you can say that,” she stopped. “Wait here! I will be back in a minute,”

Ada was frowning when she saw Peace run over to the flower shop.

“What has gotten into her?” Ada crossed her eyebrows and mumbled. She saw her through the glass window as she picked up flowers for the bouquet.

“Is she in love? Why is doing things like that?” Ada asked herself. Peace came out of the shop while holding a huge bouquet of blood-red roses. She sat on the driver’s seat and handed it over to Ada.

“Why are you giving it to me!!”

“Hold onto it for a while, and stop complaining I am trying to help you here,” Peace responded, she saw the odd expression on Ada’s face and spoke again.

“No! I am not in love, nor have I gone crazy!! All these things are for you Mother-in-Law, we will go after her and make her make the first move,” Peace had an evil smirk on her face when she spoke in a deep voice, it brought chills to Ada. After a long pause, Ada parted her lips to speak.

“You don’t know how glad I am to have you by my side, and not against me!” Ada mumbled.

“Am I that scary?” Peace smiled.

“Don’t! It makes you even more scared!” She shrunk herself in the seat.

“Alright! Alright!” Peace chuckled.

“So is she gonna like these?” Ada asked while turning her head towards the boxes of diabetes.

“About that! You have to do something—“ Peace spoke,

“What is it?” Ada asked.

“Listen attentively to what I am about to say, and repeat that in front of Mia, word to word but with emotions,” Peace spoke in a serious tone.

“Who is Mia?” Ada asked,

“Sigh! Isaac’s mother you idiot!” Peace replied.

“How did you know that?” Ada asked with surprise.

“You don’t have to know about that, just remember what I am about to say to you,”
