Estella's POV

"Please raise up Adrian, you don't need to bother yourself about this, it has already happened and there is nothing you can do to change it, let's move on with our life."

I meant nothing deeper in my statement, but I witness as he begins to drop tears, my defenses collapse, the walls that I'd never forgive him. I only try my best to cry, if I do, who would comfort him? No matter how hard I try to keep my normal face, I fail, the tears come forth in little trickles.

Adrian doesn't notice because his eyes are already clouded with tears. I bend towards him to kneel with him, but he holds me up. I'm not to kneel with him but feel his disposition. My reaction is a long and pitiful sigh.
