Seeing Burgess remain silent, Oprah felt a lump in her throat.

"I'm apologizing not because the rumors online are false but because I must. If you're unwilling to let it go, that's fine too. As long as you are okay with it."

She finished her words and was ready to leave, preparing to find another solution.

Enduring the dizziness, Burgess grabbed Oprah's wrist.
